Well the English language is a mixture of other languages and is always changing and has done for hundreds of years. Different parts of this country people have different names for certain things. In London as you know we use the word "fam" for friend and then others will use the terms mate, buddy, pal etc. Had this discussion at work as I work with a lot of guys from up north and they have around 5 different terms for a bread roll.
@@NattiGeeOver50 Thinking about this its actually more respectful for me to use the term "fam" than mate because mate is what animals do to reproduce if you actually look up to see what that word means. So calling someone a "mate" means you want to be or you want to impregnate them.
I was looking for the comment from you Black Wolf as it really encouraged me ealier this morning and I wanted to reply but don't see you here now on any of the videos...Hope you are okay and thanks again for the encouragement wherever you are....🤗
Theres a few language habits i struggle with when people use double negatives. I wasnt doing nothing .ok so you were doing something then. Another one is the announcement of ime not even lying or ime not even gonna lie.ok so youre telling me everything you say normally is a lie?
I find this vast over use of the word like😊 very annoying (like). The purpose of language is to allow us to communicate with each other (like). I think people overuse this word (like) because they are lazy (like) and it gives them half a second to think what they are going to say next (like). I find that young people can understand me quite clearly (like) but I am finding it increasingly difficult to understand them (like). I am annoying myself now (like).
Bees play a crucial role in pollinating plants,
*_which helps produce about one-third of the food we eat._*
I feel slow but I am not getting the connection ...Please expound for this poor scatty lady 😏🤔
@NattiGee I just post random facts everywhere, but if the bees go extinct then so do we.
