In open ground or containerised? On what scale? Field? Garden? Side dress and work into soil to reduce volatilisation and waste If containerised I think it would be better to incorporate it into growing medium before potting up.
Compound - all nuts in each granule (prill). Blend - different nuts in each granule. This is prilled. , easier to get consisted spread of all nutrients. As with all fertilisers you'll still need to calibrate your spreader to get consistent spread over the field with minimal duplication which would lead to strips of overfertilised soil, wast, run off, volatlisation.
