been waiting on a post. thank you! your honesty is humbling. have a great gig and enjoy your memorial day, a day we should give thanks to all vets and their families for the sacrifices the've made , making a better life for all of us.
Oh man, the memories have been stirred! Our first true road gig was in Cocoa Beach, FL, by way of Montgomery, AL. back in the 80s, with most of the gear loaded in a 1978 Ford Econoline Van (log brown in color with only 2 on the column, as described by the drummer). The other van was an old Chevy that required several hot Black Label beers to be poured in the radiator to keep her going. All of us were in our late teens and early twentys. Three of us had a reunion of sorts last year at the Power Trip in your neck of the woods. Great content, bro!
I have been absolutely lucky my whole playing career as far as vehicle problems. Fast forward to now I have a nice little weekly Friday gig just about 5 minutes away. I got super lucky. It's a VFW and they just don't want to pay a full bands. Just me my EV50M a 10" tablet running Jamzone and my ME70 fx pedal. As a side note I work on my own vehicles. So that helps with the luck to get to the gig 😁 God Bless our Veterans.
Good post! Yeah, I have to get a lug nut replaced on one of my rear wheels, it’s only running on 4 right now. Anyway, great channel, would like to see a bit about how you go about your recording process, especially mixing and mastering, if you ever get a chance. Thanks! ✌️
