    • @gregrice1354

Yes. Reasonable, responsible and especially those experienced in the workings of the existing bureaucracy in D.C. and in Congress and White House and SCOTUS, during the 45th presidency witnesses sufficient facts and acts to be aware of this possibility. So, both the Republicans during that term, and those clinging to the 45th during Biden's Term, are culpable.
The clear set of basic laws that must change are relatively few, and could be achieved with a reasonable number of reasonable Congressmen and Senator.
      1. Supreme Court Reform - following patterns set down by Senator Whitehouse's investigation, and noted in his summary videos on TH-cam, about 34 of them, called "The Scheme".
      - we must enact enforceable code of ethics on SCOTUS justices.
      - we will be more safe from the open, long term, financial manipulation of SCOTUS by the Federalist Society, Leonard Leo, and their nearly inexhaustible money resources of a few wealthy families and some US corporations - by increasing the number of justice to at least 13, and possible 15. (13 is the number of federal district courts over which each Justice has a jurisdiction.)
      - the duration of terms of service may be changed, in addition to the ESSENTIAL establishment and compliance with enforcement of an ethics code.
      2. Federal Elections have served the wealthy in the US primarily, rather than serving ALL citizens, since the Powell Supreme Court made Buckely v Valeo ruling in 1976 - permitting the bribery, fraud, disenfranchisement and dilution of the vote by all American citizens.
      - If We mandate a single, pre-screening of all communication by candidates for federal office, by a non-partisan Fed. Election Commission, and ONLY use Public Media/Air Waves for the communication, we will remove the burden of seeking donations/money by all political parties and all legitimate candidates. All candidates would receive equal access to all Media AND receive Equal Time on all Media.
      - We must also use citizen pole workers to operate like bailiff's in every trial court room, with power to suspend any candidate's campaign speech for any violation of the requirement for not communicating any false or misleading information during the campaign cycles, and to adjudicate the candidate's case BEFORE the day ballots are due, in that same election/campaign period.
Additional benefit of this reform would be to ELIMINATE ALL NEED OF MONEY from corporations or wealthy persons or from the majority of American citizens, the Working Poor. So, it would be expected that the 2 legacy dominant political parties, a Duopoly (sounds like Dew Op Pole Ee) parties would fear removal of the current flow of BILLIONS of dollars through their accounts every federal election cycle - 2 years for Congressional Representatives, 4 years for Executive Office, 6 years for Senators. (Can you imagine a judge in any court inviting wealthy people to offer to pay money "to help" with either side of court litigation? or with citizen-jurors? - In all these cases, it would clearly be a crime of bribery or fraud, or tampering with a jury, or graft. Only SCOTUS felt it is permissible in the solemn civic duty of voting in federal elections. This is based on failed reasoning, and has only survived due to failed reasoning and moral courage of educated attorneys and judges in the US, as well as the rest of us.
Because We The People already own and regulate the FCC and all of our Public Media/Spectra, including the Internet, we can change its use to serve our regularly schedule civic operation of electing our temporary office holders/public servants using a fair system of access to media. We also gain the increase in value of the exclusive right to vote that is held ONLY by US Citizens, not by any corporation. (Which is the brief explanation why corporations should never have been granted permission to "contribute" money to federal elections).
The opening up to candidates not involved with the legacy Duopoly parties, We The People have a new chance to be represented more accurately, more seriously, and without the unfair battle against the Duopoly who have mastered the current, crooked game they have made of Our representative government.
      3. Other efforts for needed change MAY consider attempting to disentangle the parts of every US Citizen's right to vote, the right to Recall ANY elected office holder from office, for failures or abuses, by Direct Vote - as is done in California, and has been performed without difficulties several times in recent years, including the vote that made the Austrian immigrant and naturalized citizen, Arnold Schwarzeneggar their governer a few years back.
      - this right has been taken from US citizens, even in the Constitution, so this could be more objectionable by the 2 Houses of Congress, the Executive Office aspirant candidates, and the legacy Duopoly political parties, who have installed rules in the House and Senate which user our right to recall officials, and leaves it in the hands of partisan political members of the House and Senate.
      - the Filibuster is NOT noted in any way in the Constitution, and therefore not any sort of non-partisan needed rule. It is used as a ransom device by the partisan politicians whose fundamental obligation, superior to their respective political party, is to serve all US citizens' interests. - Neither party survival, nor party domination of any branch or any part of any branch of our government are legitimate bases for such rules.
      - the Hastert Rule, is another recent corruption of both the right to direct recall right of US Citizens, but also works against cooperation and non-partisanship efforts in achieving singed and passable legislation from the House. This rule denies the right of a political party to reach the legal, Constitutionally established portion of votes for a bill by Representatives, to gain the needed votes from the opposing party. This is an absolute corruption of fair rules and operations of US Congress. This must be eliminated, as well as all other similar rules which have embedded these anti-citizen rights, and pro-partisan political blockage of fair, honest negotiation of Legislation in our Congress.

I was thinking "Merchan, get a grip! It's Donald Trump! He's not irreplaceable!" We sometimes forget that justice and legal matters are supposed to be sensible. Obviously, Trump is not innocent, he's not a good citizen and he's dangerous. The Republicans have clearly taken advantage of every possible legal loophole to get this villain out of jail.

If the President is incapacitated by the situation of being incarcerated or even waiting on incarceration then it is the responsibility of the President, their cabinet, Congress, and the Supreme Court to ensure that the Constitutional means of placing a replacement President are lawfully executed. It is not the responsibility of the government to bend the laws to permit a convicted criminal to serve in office.

      BUT
Everything they do is for sake of appearance, as infantile tantrums and adolescent "acting out".
What the 3 corrupted branches of US federal government are doing is an on-going dismantling and degradation of reasonable, ethical and just law and order. All the acts of agreement, participation and collusion with Trump during his first term of office, by his fellow Republicans - including blatant denial of facts, distortions of legal, moral and ethical obligations by them, In Congress, in Senate, on the Supreme Court of the U.S. remain unaccounted crimes against U.S. Citizens and against the Constitutional principles and laws.

And I also think that if you’re a convicted felon, which Trump remains, you cannot run for any office. This has been the biggest clusterfuck, orchestrated by the Republicans.
