YES,this is Oooowee....I am speechless!! All of these beautiful charts...they just keep coming. Of course I loved your video, and thank you for taking the time to show us new and upcoming charts...Lord my purse will have no jingle!😛😌 This is why I take the time to comment b\c of you two ladies who know How To conduct business with ALWAYS thanking your patrons!! MERRY CHRISTMAS and maybe one day I can attend one of your symposims!!!!! HAPPY STITCHING TODAY AND EVERYDAY IN 2023!!
I just ordered a couple of my favorites that you shared. I might need a couple more if I rewatch. I love the changes that you made with converting to silk floss. Silk makes many projects so much more vibrant and the colors richer. Thank you for sharing your time and talents.
So nice to see you Joan & Carolyn! Remember me when my husband and I came into your store! Carolyn was so kind in helping me add well as you Joan! Oh have I grown since being there! I'm stitching The Christmas Garden!! Remember I went with your color conversion!! I just love listening to you both! I keep going to samplers. I'm going to call you after the New Year. I'm interested in some of the samples you've shown with your color conversion!! Merry Christmas to both of you! 🌲✨🌲✨🌲
Great seeing all your beautiful finishes!! Your pieces are gorgeous. I stitched the O Christmas Tree in red flower thread and I loved stitching it and now love seeing it out at Christmastime! Thanks for taking the time to share your work!
This is my first time seeing you. I LOVE IT ALL! I have heard about your store on other Flosstubes and needed to find you. I used your order form but I need to discuss kitting up the charts in silks, if possible. I will call later since I’m on eastern time. You two are so inspirational! Happy Holidays!
When we fly in Canada you can take your scissors if the 'blade' is shorter than the short width of a credit card... My first time to watch you tarts! Enjoyed it very much! Have a lovely Christmas!
My experience with scissors or even crochet hooks is that what works in one airport may not work on the way back. One time when my son lived in another time zone, I flew out with no problem but when TSA rejected my set of crochet hooks (the larger ones) their offer was either throw them away (what!!!) or miss my flight so I could keep them and hope to rebook. I kept my crochet hooks (gift from a dear friend), texted my son to come back to the airport, passed off the offending item so he could mail it to me, and rebooked which was no simple thing as I had my two kittens with me. I suppose the whole thing wouldn't have been a problem if it wasn't in my carry-on. I knew about the scissors so I only had my Clover cutter with me and to use on cotton floss as I didn't know how it would do on silk.
Hi Jean and Carolyn! You’re back and I’m so happy to see you both. ❤❤. Every beautiful design looks more precious on Jean’s high count linens and silks.
Love you two! I could watch you for hours, even with NO finishes ever! Always a happy time stitching spent with you two! Merry Christmas and can’t wait to see you in January! ❤️💚❤️
So happy to see your video pop up on my IPad. Love that you two tarts shared your beautiful starts with us. I always do the 1 over 1 with a continental stitch, I still am very slow at stitching it. Love you two tarts!! Wishing both of you and your families a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!❤❤❤
I loved spending time with both of you! I appreciated the pep talk on one over one stitching. It could not have come at a better time for me. Wishing you both much joy in the holiday season.
So nice “seeing” both of you! Carolyn, you have a most wonderful job. Yes, I fall asleep mid stitch also. It’s when I try to stitch past that elusive time I call “stupid o’clock”. 😂 Nothing ever ends well when I try to stitch past that time. Hope you both have a Merry Christmas! Many blessings to you and yours!
You two are looking good!! What a treat this has been! Loved seeing the special items available for Christmas giving!! Ohh, yes and the wonderful mugs that everyone needs!! The special books are must haves!! Thank you soo much for such a Wonderful flosstube!!! Love,Love,Love all of the shop samples!! Drool!!! OMG , just amazing!!!
I always enjoy your videos. I always learn about projects and stitching with new linen and silks. BTW, although the US TSA has standard rules about carrying scissors on flights, you can’t count on the same requirements on international flights. I seem to lose a pair on every flight no matter how diligently I check (I usually have a pair in every project bag) including a pair of Dovos. Happy Christmas and New Year!
I like the look of the stitching done on high count fabric. It reminds me very much of my first "needlepoint" project - many years ago - that was referred to as petit point.
So excited to see you both in a new video , and even more thrilled when you mentioned two of my charts. I am so honored. And Jean, the colors you are wearing today are so lovely on you . Merry Christmas to you both and I look forward to seeing you at the end of February!
SO excited to see you sweet ladies again, please film more often if you possibly can. I loved seeing all the starts, the kitted projects, the charts and oooohhhh all those gorgeously stitched Antiques and Models. Thank you for sharing all the deliciousness with us and letting us see the beautiful Mason Linen up close. Wishing you and the entire Attic staff a Blessed Christmas and a Beautiful Stitchy New Year!
Christmas Blocks is so pretty!! I've done full crosses over 1 on a 32-count, but the higher counts I agree just do the Continental stitch. I couldn't stitch the bible in green either. Maybe show the items on a small tray or in a basket, to hold up, so the spools don't go rolling :) Beautiful items, oohhhh the cherry blossom Cohana set, all the scissors, love them. Jean does the best color conversions, and Aimee does the cutest charts, very pretty fabrics, the front display table is always The Best, Merry Christmas 🎄
My favorite tarts! It was such a joy to sit and stitch with you today, until we can do it in person - January will be here so soon! Merry Christmas and so much love to you both
Wonderful video, loved seeing all the amazing starts simply spectacular!! Wishing you both a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year…Jean many blessings to you as your treatment continues. Prayers always, Happy stitching…🤗♥️🤶🏻🛷
So glad to see you both. I've sat here watching this video and added to the wish list. I may have to come over to the store tomorrow morning and get a few things I didn't know I needed. LOL I fall asleep stitching too. I'm glad it's not just me.
Hello girls!! Thanks for sharing!! The fabric looks yummy!!! The camera is so funny!! It really didn't take away from your video, it just made me laugh because your sweet heads kept going away!! I hope to visit the shop one day....Florida is far away :)
I loved all your goodies. The information about the continental stitch is priceless! I’ve called to order the pink box with all the goodness inside-hope I’m lucky enough to get one!!! I actually visited you in early June this year. I loved meeting and being with all of you wish I could visit more often but I live far away in Florida, sigh.
I enjoy your flosstubes. My husband was trying to figure out if the name of your store is “The Attic” or “The Addict”. 😅 We plan to come there specifically and also visit the Grand Canyon since he’s never seen it. It would be my first time to a cross stitch shop.
So glad to see you girls back! Such beautiful things. I am coming to see a friend in Arizona in January and she lives an hour or so away and we are going to take a little road trip while I’m there and I am coming to the attic!❤❤❤
Oh how excited I was to get a floss tube motivation! Love everything you shared! I have Cohana scissors but I would choose Scissorist every single time! If in doubt, friends, get the Scissorist!
@@jeanlea7165 and fantastic customer service! I returned a pair that just didn’t cut as smoothly as others and they replaced quickly! I’m praying for you!
I am always so excited to see what is new at the Attic. You showed a rose band sampler and I would love to get that. I couldn't hear who the designer was on that. Please advise. Thank you. Marcy
Hi ladies ,a question for Jean , how on earth do you see to stitch on 56 count ? Do you use a magnifying lamp ? I can hardly see 14 count Aida ,but l have bad eyesight ,so lovely to see of all the beautiful stitching .
Question please :) What is the name of the Hannah antique that you showed? With the 2 over 2 verse? I love your videos, so happy and inspiring, and all the beautiful stitching and floss and fabrics, just gorgeous ❤It is my dream to travel to you from Australia and attend one of your workshops, perhaps in my retirement which is not that far away for me. Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year
Could you please tell me the name of the chart and designer name for that gorgeous Rose piece I think you called her Regina?? Thank you so much it was ard for me to hear the name
❤Thank you. I took a photo of the nail polish brand and color and now I can’t find that photo. I will do it again next time I go there. The red silk hank was AVAS 2645, I believe.
They are one of the varieties of silk threads from a silk thread company… there’s Soie d’Alger, Soie Sophine, Soie 103 and probably others. 103 is a very fine silk thread for higher count linens.
Love the video! Just gave a HATS sampler to a friend with 1x1, and I told her to do it with the continental stitch if she was intimidated. So excited to hear you encourage others to do that rather than not stitch a piece they love.
I’m so glad to hear I’m not the only one who falls asleep stitching! Everything is so beautiful. Merry Christmas!

I do not use a magnifying lamp. I use 4+ or 5+ readers, if I’m really tired or stitching in less than ideal lighting. ❤
