      I feel that Sui-chan has always been cultivating such fanbase. She's already said a few times that she'll never date her fan, and not to be Gachikoi for her, which already sets a clear expectation. And because Sui-chan is like that, that we Hoshiyomis admire her and love to see her shine in doing what she enjoys. Ganbare Sui-chan!

    At these times the real fans are more important than you think, I remember that Miko/Marine case that happened years ago, at that time the situation was so bad that their name was high in the Twitter trends of so many people who were saying bad things about them, in several of Miko's streams there were mass dislikes and thousands of comments from people who weren't even very informed about what was going on but showed up just to say bad things and I remember that the Japanese 35P didn't fight with any of them, they simply answered all these comments telling these people that everything had already been resolved between Miko/Hololive and the Author of that Doujin, and at the same time there were thousands of messages of support for Miko and Marine from fans all over the world in several different languages, after that it still took a couple of months with a lot of dislikes on her streams but it didn't take long for everything to return to normal, and a big part of that is due to the support of the fans

    See, now this makes me proud of the supporters of their oshi.
    While I'm not a Hoshiyomi, I'm still happy to see and hear Suisei going strong at it, and having her supporters, well, support her.
    I saw an earlier video from a different clipper, but I did say, in my opinion, it would've been easy to sue the fuckers for slander and defamation (since that's part of the new rules. Thank Cover and AnyColor), mainly just to make these asshats get a life.
    Anyways, I'm happy to see the supporters give their best supports and wishes through dumb bullshit like this (Unlike certain "Fans" during the same shit, different circumstances, granted, but still...) gives me hope for most supporters and the talents they're supporting.
    Hell, maybe the dumb slander shit will die down, since it's clear no one's showing any sign of weakness (and the fact that the Hoshiyomis actually *think* instead of jumping to conclusions, unlike *other people...* )

    • @netneo4038
      @netneo4038 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Slightly off topic, but slander or defamation suits require the accuser to prove that information was spread that was knowingly incorrect with the express intent of malice; harming a reputation. Gossip sadly isn't knowingly wrong. Not knowing if something is correct isn't the same and isn't enough to be considered slander.
      So, while those individuals are definitely vile, illegal they are not.
      Luckily our Sui-chan will be fine regardless!

    Suisei is our epic singer-girl above the other stuff. We can like/idolize her, but she's always kept things pretty clear cut. If she's actually in a relationship/married/whatever TF she wants, we're gonna keep being Hoshiyomi as long as she's still around and making awesome songs/streams and being her usual Suisei-self. Whoever decided to pick on her to start this BS either clearly doesn't understand why/how Hoshiyomi love her(not saying this is better directed at someone else, where it might get more traction, as it's just BS/trash behaviour that exposes their own inner rot/turmoil).

      @AquaXShion ปีที่แล้ว +7

      It’s a double edge sword but it’s not all negatives if you really think about it. “Idol culture“ (or more accurately, *celebrity/influencer culture)* is arguably one of the key components that enables content creators to thrive and make a career/living out of what they’re doing (entertainment). If you’re solely just a content creator and have no side hustle/gigs then your financial stability and relevance is entirely dependent on the support of your core fans. Case in point, if Idol culture is entirely gone then so does the money/relevancy go along with it.

    • @ivanbluecool

      @@AquaXShion wow such a bad take I see. No the idol culture is not the same as the VA or actor groups. Oshi no ko while I don't care about it calls it out
      Japan is this entire problem with every entertainment industry it's just idols are basically held as pure innocent status then thrown at dirt the moment they even hand hold. Thats the loser idol fan mentality Japan created and it keeps happening (rushia and now comet chan and let's not even mention Chris or aloe)
      If such a toxic culture exists I'd be glad to remove it. Though Japan knows toxic with it's work culture take on metal health and so on. This is just one of the symptoms to a whole larger problem nobody wants to actually tackle
