Born and raised in london, and everyone i know, including myself often talk about the desire to leave this city for a wide range of reasoning but watching this video i cant deny how lucky we are to have this all on our doorstep, this calm peaceful feeling when you roam the streets of london on a summers day.
Amazing cinematography that truly captures the beauty of London! Well done Lukas! Would love to see this in more cities around the UK, definitely overlooked for how amazing they look
I can‘t put in words how beautiful this film is. As a person that also feels this pull and longing towards London i wanna thank you for posting this. It makes me feel like i am back in my soul city just having little moments of appreciation. 🫂❤️🩹
I love London and I can't imagine leaving it now - but I can certainly appreciate that it isn't for everyone. For most people it's a marvellous city to visit, but if you want to live here I think it's probably best if you first come when you're young.
As a Londoner these places are great, really good fun especially if you have mates coming in from out of town but london has so much more to show for, it truly is a magical city once you know your way around.
I live in London and sometimes I romanticise places like NY, I like to take a step back and appreciate where I am. This is a beautiful video and a beautiful place. Thanks for helping me see that :)
This video is honestly one of my fav vids ever. Thank you for putting this out there and letting the world see London through your eyes. Much love and hope you keep putting out bangers like this!!!
going through a love-hate relationship with london. watching my city through your eyes reminded me how beautiful and magical this place can be. thank you for making and sharing this :)
@@FutureCityAmbient Fuji conveys a certain feeling that I always sense but can never really put into words. It's as if the emotions are burned directly into the material. But always keep in mind that every raw material only becomes what it is through the right color grading!
Appreciate the feedback! I really like the typical Wes Anderson look, but I didn't try to copy it. Personally, I try to choose the most visually appealing composition in every situation and also consciously turn away from symmetry from time to time.
Very impressive that you managed to get such close candids - did you shoot this whole video on sticks? Or did you shoot handheld to be inconspicuous and then just stabilize the footage? Great clip. Love its simplicity.
Thank you, Harry. I filmed everything handheld and stabilised it in post with DaVinci Cameralock. Very interesting that you notice the closeness of the shots! Since I filmed everything with my fuji 18mm, I was actually so close to the situation that I almost became a part of it. Maybe that was the magic behind it that made me merge with the situation and therefore hardly cause a stir!

Gorgeous footage - did you use a filter to bloom the highlights?
Thank you so much!
The only filter I had in front of the lens was an ND filter. I added the rest completely in the color grading process.
