Finally getting around to watching this episode, it was as much fun to watch as it was to record!

Whoa, l loved that show. EXCELLENT job all around, gentlemen! I’m familiar with all these bands and their… let’s say replacement singers, who all only turned out to be temporary. I’ve heard all of these albums, but most not for 20-30 years!
The one act here that I’m most familiar with, out of the quartet, is Anthrax. If memory serves, l saw an embryonic version of the band perform at my school in the early 1980s. Scott Ian went to my local school, but was a few years ahead of me. At any rate, I concur with John TMN that Sound of White Noise is easily the best of the Bushthrax CDs. However, it’s not my number one Anthrax album… it’s my number two.
Mike and Jake were both extremely passionate about their love for their respective band’s eras, which is always great to see. It’s too bad Mike had to split early, but l know he’s had some bad luck with his shelves recently.
The Professor nailed it perfectly! Blaze gets the blame, but it’s really Harry. I truly dug his take on that whole scene, man. Peter is also correct in stating the excellence of those Dickinson solo albums. I’m personally partial to The Chemical Wedding. Maybe if wee ‘arry sees this video, he’ll see the error of his ways. Not bloody likely, but a guy can dream, can’t he?!
    Nice job, lads.
    Cheers from The Big Apple.
Rock Out, Prog On and Pogo!

I have never given Bruce’s solo catalogue a chance beyond Tattooed Millionaire. Probably because I totally got off the Maiden train altogether.

Great show as usual. I love Corabi. Slight correction on the Motley material not being reissued again, the 1999 Greatest hits included the videos and singles from their 94 masterpiece, and in 2003 i bought this beautiful CD compilation as it got released called "supersonic and demonic relics" which includes some material from Quaternary, a couple unreleased tracks and a remix of Holigan's. Check it out if you can find it it is worth it

Great topic! Here's my take on various temporary singers :
Motley Crue - Absolutely love the 94 Corabi album, but it was the height of alternative rock and the start of pop punk getting big so the Motley album got zero promotion from radio and MTV. Most people sadly still don't know that album exists.
Judas Priest - I love Jugulator and 98 Live Meltdown, they were off to a great start. Demolition however is their weakest songwriting wise and they seemed unsure of what direction to go. I'm glad Rob came back, but Jugulator at least was good.
Anthrax - I enjoy most of Sound Of White Noise, played it to death in the summer of 93. Stomp 442 started off strong but falls off in the second half, Volume 8 is my least favorite Anthrax album, but I do like the song Catharsis. We've Come For You All is a big step up, I enjoy it as much as White Noise.
Iron Maiden - Blaze did great on The X Factor, probably their darkest album, saw that tour as well. Sign Of The Cross is a Maiden classic in my book and Bruce sang it great when he returned. Virtual XI is probably my least favorite Maiden album, but its still not bad by any means. Futureal, Lightning Strikes Twice and The Clansman are all great songs.
Van Hagar - 5150 and F.U.C.K. were both strong albums, still listen to them both. As for OU812 I only really like Mine All Mine, Black And Blue and Cabo Wabo. Balance had some good songs like Seventh Seal, Aftershock, Amsterdam and Don't Tell Me What Love Can Do, but it kinda ends on a whimper on the last few songs. They did have a damn good song on the Twister soundtrack, Humans Being, but it was over with soon after that.

@@MyMusicCorner Yeah, I will give Pete credit for that, but man that was a tough listen. Popoff gave VXI an 0/10. Mike had him on the Lebrain Train a couple times. Corabi/Crue - Great
Bush/Anthrax - Great (1st two albums) only good after that.
Ripper/Priest - Only ok to me.
Blaze/Maiden - Doesn’t do anything for me. I’d rather listen to 20 album clones with Bruce as the singer. Music taste is always subjective.
