Here’s a tip: 1. For making voices, the sampler only has 16 notes, and if you want to tune the vocals for a melody, make sure to delete the ones you don’t need for the melody. 2. For tuning the pitch for the vocal, a semitone is a half step in simplified music terms. 2.3. Half steps are mostly like accidentals, which raise or lower the pitch of an instrument halfway. Imagine a G and A note on an actual piano, there is a black key in the middle of the 2 notes. A flat lowers a note by a half step so “A flat” will mean the black note before the A note, and a sharp raises the note by a half step, which means “G sharp” makes it the black note after G, which leads to the same black note (E and F, and B and C are exceptions because they do not have a black key in between.) 2.7. whole steps are skipping the black key entirely and goes to the next white key. Whole steps are 2 half steps, which are 2 semitones.
