I've watched this at least about 30 times. Sometimes I would just watch it over and over and over. And I cry everytime. You gave such a heartbreaking and tragic end of a story, a beautiful and accepting end. Instead of him dying. I saw her tell him that she lives him and saw there love burn eternally in the flame that consumed their hands. Then that ending. He didnt die. They kissed and everyone accepted them. Yeah, definitely, although I would add season 7 as well: Spike feels so complete in season 7-- he's come full circle and is completely evolved to the point of being genuinely CALM. A true testament to the demon and the human soul functioning in perfect symbiosis. ❤

But what makes it really special for me are the sound effects you kept in - not just some dialogues between them. This makes it vivid like a flashback. I love how you made the scooby gang cheer for them. Gosh, they deserved it. With this, you tell an alternative story that should have been told a long time ago. Thank you!

The crazy thing about this show is ... I aam always rooting for Buffy with Spike. I didnt even feel anything when he was still a bad villain in the first season, but the transitions make me like him so much. From he was the poor Willliam, then such a deadly evil William the blooody, and then souled Spike. There were a lot of wrong things about him but still I can't ignore him.. Anyway this editing isssss amazing, 4:12 from which episode is this? I quite forget.
Same! Spike never appeared like some cruel villain, even if he made some questionable things (and he did, truly). But his character development probably made him into one of the best characters in a tv show ever. And his moments with Buffy were always so interesting. :)

I've been reading Spuffy fan-fic for over 15 years, and re-watch probably once a year. As awful as the comics were, at least Spuffy came out of the closet and were accepted as a couple (tho the ending/S12 comics were extremely rushed, a literal cop-out, like Joss had just gotten tired of the whole Buffy thing, just involved to move on from it. Honestly, the comics & Spuffy were doing better before Joss came along for S12 books to wrap things up & break Spuffy up!). And the new Boom BtVS comics are awful! Horrible art, most of the time, and a a horrid mish-mash of the original stories & premises! Drusilla as "The Mistress"... Dru who literally could barely normally feed herself?! It's apologist fic, glossing over the controversial subjects like sexuality, vamps representative of sex, & violence & ID, domestic violence, ideation, for instance; and the writers have seemed to either forget, or they never understood that BtVS was supposed to be representing the drama of teenage years with literal monsters & horrors... Thanks for the vid, love it!
@@kabauer24 the "Elysian Fields Dark Solace"* fanfic archive comes especially highly recommended, but there's tons of goods stuff on AO3 as well. *The second part of the name of that fabulous site comes from where Buffy call Spike her dark solace (referring back to season 6, nothing dark about there later comic seasons relationship anymore), which is ironic seeing as most of the writers and readers aren't exactly keen on the comics.

I usually tend to end Spuffy edits with a sad note but at that day I just couldn't put Spike's death as an ending. And so I decided make a happier ending with the Scoobie Gang all cheering for them. 😃

The crazy thing about this show is ... I aam always rooting for Buffy with Spike. I didnt even feel anything when he was still a bad villain in the first season, but the transitions make me like him so much. From he was the poor Willliam, then such a deadly evil William the blooody, and then souled Spike. There were a lot of wrong things about him but still I can't ignore him..
Anyway this editing isssss amazing, 4:12 from which episode is this? I quite forget.
Same! Spike never appeared like some cruel villain, even if he made some questionable things (and he did, truly). But his character development probably made him into one of the best characters in a tv show ever. And his moments with Buffy were always so interesting. :)

This video is amazing! Your editing, your cuts, are fantastic! You do a great job of telling a story in this video. Love your ending! Spuffy is my OTP! I've been reading Spuffy fan-fic for over 15 years, and re-watch probably once a year. As awful as the comics were, at least Spuffy came out of the closet and were accepted as a couple (tho the ending/S12 comics were extremely rushed, a literal cop-out, like Joss had just gotten tired of the whole Buffy thing, just involved to move on from it. Honestly, the comics & Spuffy were doing better before Joss came along for S12 books to wrap things up & break Spuffy up!). And the new Boom BtVS comics are awful! Horrible art, most of the time, and a a horrid mish-mash of the original stories & premises! Drusilla as "The Mistress"... Dru who literally could barely normally feed herself?! It's apologist fic, glossing over the controversial subjects like sexuality, vamps representative of sex, & violence & ID, domestic violence, ideation, for instance; and the writers have seemed to either forget, or they never understood that BtVS was supposed to be representing the drama of teenage years with literal monsters & horrors...

*The second part of the name of that fabulous site comes from where Buffy call Spike her dark solace (referring back to season 6, nothing dark about there later comic seasons relationship anymore), which is ironic seeing as most of the writers and readers aren't exactly keen on the comics.

2:18 and 2:53 and 2:16 and 4:13 is all 5x18. The episode when Spike finally got the Buffybot.
