I feel like Lana is the PERFECT vibe for these two. It's like every song she writes is about Spike (maybe because she mostly writes about bad boys lol). I love these two so much and this video gives me so many feelings.
Angel is so great and important to her because he was her first love and helped her grow to who she is now but her love she feels with spike is more mature and true. It wasn’t rushed, she trusted him more than anyone, I remember her telling Angel I love you, I don’t know if I trust you. A person who loves someone doesn’t just stop loving someone, spike never stopped loving her with or without soul. She trust Spike. She chose spike over Angel in season 7 because she could have gotten back with Angel and not tell him that spike is in her heart. She almost always defended him, saw the good in him when no one did, wanted to protect him, understood each other and were always honest with each other more than I could say for her relationship with Angel. I believe she truly loved Spike more. She definitely chose Spike in the comic books as what I have been told and from what I have seen online. She ended up with Spike in the comic books!!:)
The truth is you can’t truly love someone that you don’t trust. Otherwise it wouldn’t be Real love. so when she tells Angel I love you but I don’t trust you. It makes me question if she really loved him or maybe she just thought she loved him.
With Spike it’s different she trusted him with dawn even before they got together. she trusted him with the secret of her being in heaven. Truly I think she trusts him more than anyone especially more than Giles.
@@miaamer7718 I wouldn’t go that far about her not loving Angel. Angel and her loved each other that is clear as day but the love spike and her share is stronger deeper, and lasts longer. You can still love someone and not trust them but that kinda of love doesn’t last long at all and it’s even more complicated for both people in the relationship more than it should ever have to be.

So, with all that’s been said, Do you really think what angel and buffy had was real love?

Incluso recuperó su alma porque creía que por la falta de su alma era q ella no lograba asumir su amor por él. Llevando esto a la vida real podemos decir que ese hombre sanó sus heridas internas gracias al amor verdadero y profundo q sentía por ella. Por otro lado ella confiaba en él más que en nadie. I loved your scene selection for this, lyric wise. The part about her going to heaven and being allowed to bring her man, his sacrifice and leaning on the cross, there couldn't have been a better fit for those lines. Beautiful video!

I still have my faith that god has to be real in bts and that he has other plans. because like willow and the others thought buffy went to hell when she went to heaven because she was good. and spike after all is like chosen the same way she was as the slayer, because he's the champion. and when he goes down it will be on the good side. so just like willow was wrong I hope spike still gets let into heaven.

Not in any physical sense, but her soul kept taking hits. Spike would still love her. With or without a soul, he would love her. Whether she was flirting, hating, or loving him, he would still love her. I have this AU idea where instead of Angel having then losing his soul, it would be Spike. If he'd fallen in love with her while having a soul, _and THEN lost it,_ I'm 100% sure he wouldn't have done what Angel did. He would've tried to turn her, to make her bad, his Dark Queen, but even if she refused, he would never hate her. And i imagine, eventually, he would himself fight to get his soul back, just to be with her again.
i think buffy's ideas of love just didn't fit with spike. she couldn't justify it and it didn't make sense. spike was smarter when it came to different relationships having lived longer and been an artsy bleeding poet type. he even tries to counsel buffy and angel. love isn't brains, it's blood. i think spike knew buffy better than she knew herself. and that's probably why he was so confused in seeing red. buffy always beat spike in a fight, so why not then? suddenly, inexplicably she was weak? didn't make sense. why demand he say i want you, i love you. those are words you don't want to hear from someone you don't want.
