@@ProFaNeZGaming This deck has a problem when it's not clear if you need to go for midrange plan or OTK plan and or/when you don't get the draw cards. If you decide to go OTK there are instances when you have full hand and nothing to play, because your hand is just zillion combo pieces and precious removal that you don't want to spend on small or average board. Even in this vid Toast says his hand is garbage even though he has a full hand! I've had control warlock tempo me out (sic!). The only freely playable minions are 2 protectors, Thalnos, Thekal and 2 Loot hoarders. Neither of them can fight for board control, they die to anything. And from 3 mana thekal there's a huge mana gap to spikers steed which can be played only if you have a minion on board, which is not certain, as your last one was at 3 mana. So it might happen that steed is playable only on turn 8 with hero power. But you might be dead until then.

@@erykczajkowski8226 I mean of course sometimes your hand can be kinda useless in some situations where you can't out tempo your opponent when you should or you can't control cause you have combo pieces but I guess it's only a natural con of this deck. Since it is so versatile anyways you have so many removals against aggro (Equality, Consec, pyro, shriek ray, tarim...) and a lot of control tools to stall the game with spikeriged steed, time out... And A shit ton of lifesteal with Shirvallah, Uther and Kangor... Of course some of theses cards are very specific and can only be played given certain conditions but when these conditions are met they are extremely effective which is why this deck has such a high winrate. For certain, sometimes you won't be able to use your cards cause you don't have the right cards in hand but it's only a natural flaw of this deck. ALSO, that scenario where you can't play cards isn't happening that often... since according to HSReplay this deck is the most played paladin deck with a winrate of 58.1% and trust me for an OTK deck it's pretty amazing (of course it doesn't compare to Aviana + Kun in wild but for a standard OTK deck its still amazing)

Toast, when you have the Mana it's better to hero power > Zola > brewmaster the Zola
This way you get to keep 1 horseman on the board and you still have Zola in your hand.
If the opponent doesn't clear your horseman, it's a huge threat and you have less chance of low rolling on your next hero power.
Usually you would want to zola first and bounce back the zola with ancient brew. This way opponent has a target to kill (if not you have better chance to roll favorable horseman) and you have 5 4 on board.

If we compared your game to a game where thekal was a spider tank:
It would have been the exact same result except you would be 27/30 life instead of 30/30 life at the end
He seriously could have lost this game just off of bad deckbuilding. Lynessa is so much better than thekal in this deck.

With Zola U are leaving 1 horsemen on board. it is already a threat for ur enemy, because u will roll next horsemens faster.
Also in tempobased matchups where u do not need ur OTK combo to win u can make a HUGE Swing with: 0mana Shirvallah - Zola - 2nd Shirvala - Brewmaster on Zola - Zola to 3rd Shirvallah in hand. 10 mana Tempo swing that wins every Rogue/Zoolocks and other tempodeckz.
And ur CTA could also ruin 1 or 2 small brewmasters, so u have to mulligan 1 copy. While normally u will mulligan more useful cards instead.
@@voracekvitek Honestly, a couple novice engineers, youthful brewmasters or tar creepers are good enough. Those cards aren't really core at all.. and more cycle or taunts would work just fine. Might screw with Call to Arms a bit.. but whatever. The deck is full of variance as is.. so who cares. I'd go with the brewmasters since they can do your combo if you draw them. (plus a 3/2 off of Call to Arms is a decent result anyway).

Why not youthful brewmaster instead of ancient
I run Lynessa instead of shrink ray. This deck is expensive and worth every penny. It's packed full of combos to draw out and extinguish your opponent's board several times. On top of that most players will let you pull off the OTK without conceding just cuz it's so awesome! I have a 90% winrate. I LOVE THIS DECK!
**Update** Call to Arms is garbage! Unless you drop it turn 5 and hope you don't pull both Pyromancers (combos off half your cards) or both Loot hoarders (can catch you off guard if you're holding 8 cards already) it really is a useless card. Just makes the deck too unpredictable. Swapped em both out for 2 Shrink Ray. Both 5 cost spells.
If you play the three 2/2s in your hand, doesn't that force the 4th different one from hero power? Like shaman with totems? If so, lethal on turn earlier.

Hi newbie here.. I thought the summoned horseman will be random, but from the vid, everytime toast summoned 1 horseman, it seemed it's not..can anyone clarify this matter to me?

You always get a random horseman that is not on board. If you have 2 different once on board, you will get one of the two missing once. If you have 3, you will always get the 4th one. Thats not the case if you have them in hand tho. Then it‘s just random.
Is Shirvallah important in this deck? I think that's the only card I'm missing

I'm very confused as to how this works, I'm somewhat new to Hearthstone and know some cards but I don't understand this combo, could someone please explain it to me?
The hero power of Uther of the Ebon Blade (paladin-death-knight card) summons the four horsemen of the apocalypse instead of regular 1/1. If all 4 are on the table at the same time you instakill the enemy hero.
You basically have to wait to transform into Uther of the Ebon Blade and then your hero powers upgrades. Your hero power makes you summon a horseman and if you have all four horseman you destroy the enemy hero automatically. So you make a deck around that by having ancient brewmaster or zola so you summon a horseman with your hero power then put it in your hand via brewmaster or zola and then once you have 3 u can place them and use your hero power and you win the game :)
Aight big mann, the paladin death knight hero power summons a 2/2. All of these are unique and if you have 4 og them on your board you win. This deck relies on getting 3 of them in your hand and playing all of them and then hero power to win immediately

I don't care how good the deck is, it feels bad to play against and to lose too. It basically beats any and every slow control deck. People always call a deck "bad" if it doesn't beat the most aggressive decks. Mechanics like this just add way more luck to climbing ladder. Match making luck is one of the biggest factors of whether or not I win a game.

Nobody can play any fun slower decks on ladder because of trash like this. Makes climbing to legend boring, I have to play aggro or waste half my life trying to not match against idiotic people playing this crap.
They will just Nerf it anyways. They're waiting for everyone to craft the expensive cards, then they'll Nerf time out or one of the common or the cheap essential cards for the deck and burn everyone exactly like they did with shudderwock. Idiot kids

That applies to basically every combo deck. You're playing more against RNG than your player opponent.
Not exactly, i play combo Priest, but in that case you have to think about the best moment to us your sustains and removals, and when to use Twilight drakes or buffs, that's some serious thinking even in a combo deck

Why high priest is good in this deck ?
Because the healing isn't dead against slow decks, and you can play Flash of Light on your face with some minor benefit besides just drawing. Proactive heal basically.

@@alunethx4585 the matchup is in favor for warlock, but 100% winrate is a bit of a stretch. i'm running this deck with double Time Out and Lynessa and even/cube warlock is definently doable.

yep call to arms will screw your combo. although i believe in the next big tournament someone is bringing a version without call to arms so they can run both otk's in one deck. surprised toast hasn't stolen it yet.

@@riccardodellorto4267 also contains baleful banker and holy wrath so if you drew your entire deck you can bounce shirvallah back into your deck, draw it back out with holy wrath and do 25 damage.

why is Thekal good? (why is it good to convert your Health in Armor?)
because of healing effects, gives u more then 30 life.
Your grand total HP ends up being more than 30 if you start healing. It pretty much stacks a bunch of armor on top of 30 health if you manage to heal fully.
Because he artificially increases your health total. If you play him at 30 HP, you go down to 1hp and 29 armour. If you heal for 4 you go to 5 ho and 29 armour - 34 total HP, which you could not have had if you were at 30 HP.
Maik HD because if you manage to get thekal in the early turns it means you can gain healing that you normally wouldn't of got from stuff like true silver champion. I personally think that 2 time outs are better than thekal. I also think running lynessa is better since you can get 4 draws off it
