Buy a piece of property where you can build a house and have enough land to build a warehouse. Don’t rent a warehouse and make someone else rich. You can store some of your surplus supplies in a storage unit and access them as needed. I love seeing you work and how you think. Even if you were to rent a house with some sort of side building and basement would be ideal for now.

I want use my house to start an embroidery business since we have the space and I want to be my own boss already 😩😌😃
Where ever you move I recommend that you put closetmaid wire shelving. The selves are ajustable. I put it on on entire wall in my office from ceiling to floor for my fabrics an spools of ribbon. It's the economy way to go. Its from Home Depot and you only buy the pieces that you need.

I was feeling encouraged until I mentioned it to someone and they just said I could never do what you do because I was too dumb ☹️ and could never afford to start anything.

Have you considered for now utilizing the empty spaces you have higher up near ceiling? Maybe adding more structural storage that makes use of the entire walls, beyond what you can reach while standing on the floor? A retail ladder to safely access higher shelves. Fingers crossed for you guys!

Hi Angela, as you mentioned you dislike hooping/stuggling with the backing I just wondered it you have seen that mighty hoops now sells a backing holder that slips over the bottom hoop while you are hooping flat without the hoopmaster. and then you remove before loading to your embroidery machine. A little pricey but would save time and aggravation. I haven't tried one yet but they have a video. You work so hard! Keep up the great work.

I'm from New Jersey so watching you is even more inspiring for me. I'm re-starting a business I had years ago, people kept asking me for products so decided to get it going again; along with a few other ventures. I understand what you mean about trying to find space for everything. I wish I could come help you get your inventory situated but I don't live in NJ anymore. Prices were too high and taxes are crazy expensive not to mention I'm so over the cold weather, digging my car out of the snow, alternate side of the street parking just to name a few things.... lol You guys should seriously consider moving to the Atlanta area, with the space you need you would get more bang for your buck there, not to mention the taxes would be less and the weather would be nicer. I'm several hours away from Atlanta, it's a bit too busy for me but I think you may like it there.

HELP PLEASE! When doing aplique, how do you make the machine stop to put the fabric? I have a 10 needle brother machine and I haven’t found out. I have to stop the machine when is running but sometimes I miss that part. Thanks!
You have to watch videos on putting in "Stops" you need a stop for every piece of fabric you add. First is a "placement stitch" the you need a stop🚨🛑🚦so you can put the fabric over the outline. Then it should stitch down the fabric then another stop🛑for you to cut then start again to finish. Hope it helps. Do you have a 6 or 10 needle brother???? The different screens have the different parts of what the machine is going to do. That's where you put in your stops. You can search TH-cam for "how to add stops for embroidery applique stitch out to" and add your specific machine to see if someone has it posted
