I suspect the foreshadowing for the end of the game is the second sentence of the intro "be warned, only one head can wear a crown ".

BTW! You can recycle any equipment you aren't using (like a weaker curse or weapon) into coins 💚
Story of oldo, he died and was reincarnated as an animal now he spends his days eating berries and pooping… the story of a true hero
Linguini is also the name of a type of pasta that is usually seasoned with pesto, so it is a great name for a sacrifice
I think he knows what linguini is and is the reason why he was giggling so much when he named them linguini
Linguini was the name of a character on one of his twitch streams.
yep I do know it is a pasta, I have it all the time, but the reason is actually because of the movie Ratatouille due to frequent references I've made throughout playing Cult of the Lamb

Also pretty sure if you would have done the sermon first you would have gotten devotion from the guy you sacrificed before sacrificing him? Or is the sermon the last thing you can do so you can't get "free" devotion?

Yes decorations improve the mood of the followers and never forget to feed them, apparently things go south real quickly if they are hungry

Backstory you say? Here you have (told on first person).
Linguini: I was once a faithful follower of our grand lord Leshy. He created three of us so that we could defend his territory. I was the youngest, Linguini; then my bigger brother Eiffel 65; and finally, our oldest brother, Fodder (the one that Retromation sacrificed). We always hated each other, we were competitive into being the strongest so that lord Leshy would accomplish only one of us. The strongest was Fodder, the one that hated so much that I could kill him because I also deserve to be complimented by my lord, but he always steal my duties so that he can get more attention. One day, feeling depressed of not being accomplished in any way by my lord, I sit next to a river crying. I don't remember how many time passed when a girl came by. She was concern that I was crying and I told her what was going on. Afterwards she said "That's okay, because I think you are the best" and so, we started to hang out. Days after, I discover that I fall in love for her so I would tell her my feelings the next time. The next day, when we were hanging out, I was going to confess when she confessed that she fell in love with my oldest brother, Fodder. Knowing the right thing, I presented her to my brother and he ended up using her as a sacrifice for Leshy. I couldn't bear with it, but I just decided to not bother on anything anymore. And then, after a couple of years passed, I saw Fodder being sacrificed by our new lord and that was when I notice that Leshy did not deserve to be considered a lord. That the only one must be my new lord in Retromation, were I could finally be happy with myself again. And maybe, when times passed, someone would love me.

I've never loved u playing a game this much
i think i will NOT watch too much of this series and get this game for myself, and maybe watch more of the videos after i have played myself. This game seems so much fun due to the happy vibes being offset by the darker theme and the many choices that can be made.

Have any of you heard of Inscription? Probably. It also has a character named Leshy who lives in a dark forest. And they are both from the same publisher...
The Leshy is a forest spirit in Slavic mythology. If it was the same _developer_ I would say 100%, but since it is just the publisher there is a real chance it is just referencing mythology.

I was originally put off by the graphics/visuals, but I'm a sucker for the whole town building and progression system. I'll have to try the demo but I may end up getting this.

A pvp tip the following missiles do a lot of damage to these bigger bosses and if u ask urself how I know that bec I'm maxed everything in that game I only need to complet the last dungen

I’ve been waiting to watch this until I finished one full loop. It’s a really good game, but there’s a few annoying bugs on Switch that I hope they iron out. I even found an invincibility glitch, but it’s not easy to set up on purpose

I tried the demo and couldn't even make it past the first boss, so that pretty much tells me that I'm not good enough to play it. I'll just enjoy the game vicariously thru you Reto, thanks again.

Tried out the demo today. Uninstalled it immediately and ignored the game on steam after I saw the controls... Z X C etc. to control the main menu. Arrow keys to move instead of WASD. X (or whatever) to attack, instead of using the mouse. It's like the devs have never seen a PC in their life.
I am happy to inform you the full version has logical keyboard and mouse controls that are fully rebindable. I had the same issue.

You should do the ritual of dancing around a fire you seemed to miss it. You also forgot to steal leshy devotion. You should sermon before sacrificing cuz u lose 1 faith. You can give blessing everyday, I think you forgot it was night and they were sleeping when you went to play knucklebones.
On the first room of final dungeon where you killed leshy, there was a tombstone but you didn't read it. Me sad.
Also you seem to forget to check for secrets by going in a different way than intended for hidden passageways or Easter eggs? Maybe you are doing it but not showing in video...
Imo both the industrious and faithful is good but faithful better short term to go through tech tree faster and industrious is better long term. It was your choice, I would've picked faith personally.
Anyways with the woman who would increase your follower faith in surprised you chose someone that high levelled. I'd have chosen someone very far off and seen how much it increased instead.
Just double check if you have set highest level followers to pray and you should definitely cook more than you need. The stomach of your colony ain't full.
