Dude was there any issue with procuring scooter in Ubud w/o IDP? Any frequents police checks?
Not really. All you have to do is follow rules and there’s no problems. There are police only in one main junction in main Ubud rest of the places there was no problems.

I’ll tell you something honestly, I carry my own veg food from MTR or ITC which I can heat and eat otherwise the Indian food is very expensive it can cost ₹800+ for simple dal chawal meals but yes there are kaislash parvat and other good veg restaurants there too. I have gone to a few I’ll cover them as well

Can you please let me know whats the status of bike rental ban that was imposed in March 2023. Also, need to know is bali digital payment friendly or is it completely cash oriented country?
Good question. On my last day in Ubud this rule was passed. But presently my freinds travelling there who are not having drivers license and no one is stopping them. It’s best to have an international license and drive safely as per their laws to avoid trouble.

@@TheCrazyCoupleCo actually the last update when I was there said even IDP won’t be considered but no one was checking. And as for digital payment you can use cards everywhere without issues that’s nice. I was using my card too the entire trip.
