Forge outside for sure. But try rotating the wheel facing into the base. This way you can "popcorn" the ingot out. Makes moving a little easier.
I didnt k ow u could stack crops and they still work thats lit
I like the miniature base ideas like 4x4 foundation and clip everything inside each other.
In ASE you could use a bear trap and you could snap a generator inside a fabricator and a smithy inside your chem lab.
Unfortunately in ASA you can't do that anymore. HOWEVER you can still drop vaults. So what I do I place a fabricator on half ceilings/half walls, under it 2 vertical Smithys and finally I drop 2 vaults on each side.

I really like this build and I’ll be using it for my solo play-throughs.
I normally play solo that gives me great idea to make my base also on the roof put some railing and have all the flyers there!

With the forge hole , there is quarter walls or half walls that will fill the top and you can reach the forge from the bottom half of the open wall💯📌

Good overall, but you forgot fridges and some of the other basic stuff you need. I can see where you can probably place those in your build, but could of helped novice by showing it. I tend to start off at least 6x6 and skip thatch as you mentioned to stone or wood because gathering doesn't take much longer and is more dino resistant. last thing you want is a bronto or giga to agro close to your base and wipe it out in pve. Also, a lot of your videos including this one jump straight to high level engram stuff; Not everybody is playing single player or using Admin. Not trying to call you out, but your videos would probably do better and be of more help if you approached it from the typical official or non-moded server player.
You could also place the 1/4 walls on top to block the top half of the empty space
Water source for crops? Bed, fridge?

There is a difference i saw in the secret doors is they have less hp so you can tell its a door if you go up to it im still very nrw to the game thank you for the video
Teach you rock brother! Perfect build for me, fast convenient, and efficient. I built this, and a huge dino pen at 47/48. Great build awesome location, and my dinos are happry now. Keep up the great work man, I just subbed. Oh btw, your character model is hilarious ;)
secret walls have a lower health
Place one down open it place qaurter walls inside, add pillars to reinforce. I hope this doesnt get patched. So fluid to make layered walls meow

Low or high health doesn’t matter, in a raid if your raider decides he was to destroy you he will no matter the health of you wall it takes C4 or rockets in some cases to destroy it so… and obviously nobody building this type of bases in PVP, only bobs

I kinda regret ever buying this, sure, it looks better then ASE, but the performance is terrible, and it's missing so many things that ASE already had, at least from what I've been able to deduce
Everyone has been saying that forever but since launch it’s been a 30 second pick-up timer, I play smalltribes so maybe it’s the same as before on official servers?

There is actually a big difference between the secret wall and the regular wall, Teach. The secret wall is only boasting 6250 hp compared to the normal walls 10k. Something to keep in mind when using them on pvp servers.
This is true, but a C4 charge or three can make that obsolete! 😂🤣😂

You can snap to horizontal pillars.

How do you not have dinos or trees that island always has tree and dino I tried the destroy foliage it doesn't work
If you building Forgewith this wiele on him in front of this Wall hole you can drop all metal from forge inside building betwen your Smithy and fabricator and easy oneclickcollect all metal ...

Does anyone know how to raise foundation on console? Or is most of these tips for pc?
Does anybody have any ideas of a spot to put the refrigerators with this build? I think that was the only part he missed minus the bed. You could probably go along the back wall with a couple refrigerators and preserving bins. The bed throw it anywhere I guess lol
Gonna want at least 1 fridge near the Indy cooker. Nothing quite like trying to carry hundreds of eggs across your base when it's time to craft kibble.
Do you have any fast ways to remove all trees and rocks in a area without having to manually take them down with a tool or mount?, I'd love to be able to wipe an area really fast to just mess around with building, but it's so tedious to remove everything manually.
If your on single player in admin mode use a rocket launcher to clear an area quick

I'd really like to see somebody create a base similar to this but from a zero build. Everyone starts off with everything unlimited and tons of crap and then says all you need is this. Lol.
How do you irrigate the crop plots up there?
Irrigation is wireless now. Super simple. Just put a water tank on the roof. There will be a big blue bubble. It will supply water to anything in range.
Also, they snap one above the other, if the amount of water isn't enough, simply add above it

Google "ark ascended commands" it will give you a list of 'cheats' you can access - pretty much a must with all the pathing/buggy/glitch features in the game.

Like the first thing you did was make a foundation that can be blown from below and then ceilings on the edge that people can tunnel under. All they need to do is get under the lip of that cliff and they're in your fiundations and all your turrets are useless. Everythig he says like building first in thatch (no, you just build smaller in metal first) to using geeenhouse anything (super weak) is just wrong. And if you're buiding for PvE none of this matters, build in wood cuz its cheaper and prettier.

You keep saying that you can pick up things whenever, but in official servers you still have a short time limit before you can no longer pick things up. You clearly don't play any official servers.
I think PVE lets you pick it up whenever.
