How to RESYNC PS5 Controller to PS5 & Fix Won't Connect again! (3 Methods!)

Do you want to RESYNC PS5 Controller to your PS5 and FIX Won't Connect issues? In this video, I will show you 3 different ways to reconnect your PS5 controller after using it on PC or via bluetooth on your phone. The first way is to use a USB cable and this will connect the controller instantly. The second way you will need an additional controller already connected to go to settings, sound, bluetooth accessories and forget or disconnect the PS5 wireless controller from the menu. Then place your PS5 controller into paring mode and resync it to your PS5. The third way is to reset your PS5 controller by pressing the reset button on the back of the controller.

One more thing to mention. Some of you may be experiencing the rest mode glitch where your controllers cannot reconnect even with USB and the system on. What you want to do is put the system in rest mode with the button on the front of the ps5. Once in rest mode simply unplug it and count to 10. Plug it back in then use the controller connect via USB to turn it on. This should fix the problem.

unfortunately didnt work for me ): dont know whats going on i know the charger isnt busted, i plug it in to my controller through the ps5 and the controller lights up orange for about a second or 2 then thats it. try to turn it on and it just flashes blue for a sec

Hey how's it going. Just got new PS5 with two new controller. So one controller turned on my PS5, load my games. But my other controller dose the same but for some reason it will not work when I have any games playing. I have not seen this documented anywhere although it could easily be. I have an Insignia firestick 4k TV as well as a brand new PS5. However I was having issues with the PS5 controller either not pairing with the PS5 on start up or rapidly losing its pairing shortly thereafter. Needless to say it caused me a lot of grief. The issue had to do with the sequence of powering up. If the TV was on prior to firing up the PS5, the problem occur. However if the TV was off before the PS5 was powered up there was no issue. The issue has to do with the PS5 recognizing the firestick remote as a controller (and in fact the PS5 gives the firestick remote limited control, which was wierd)
The problem is easily resolved by ensuring that the TV is off before starting the PS5. The PS5 as it cycles up will automatically start the TV and switch the TV to the appropriate input setting. Problem solved. I suspect this is not a unique problem to my system Hope this helps

I tried for 30 min everything I could find on the internet to try and get my controller to connect I was using a usb to usb c cord as soon as I used the original usb c to usb c it connected and worked so if anyone that is also struggling and nothing else is working make sure your using the cord that came with your ps5 ! It worked for me atleast I hope this helps someone!
