I've been watching these tutorials for a few weeks now, and after tying, and untying, this bracelet multiple times, mainly due to sizing, I'm now proud to say I can do the cobra stitch without much thought. WOO!!!
I have NEVER made a bracelet. Your video popped up in my Facebook feed. Watched it. Bought cord and made one. It looks pretty good for my first attempt. Had to start over went with 8 inches in the beginning. 7 was the right size. Thank you made it easy for a beginner.
Finding paracord around here isn't easy. Sure, you can order on the net but I'm an oldtimer. Been interested in these bracelets for a long time and finally I found a seller with cords that I could look and feel at. I chose mil green 5mm and made a bracelet according to your specifications, which I find superior to others since it requires only paracord and does what its supposed to. Proudly wearing it now and couldn't be happier. Thank you!
+Thereisnosp00000n I get most of mine from military surplus stores, but there are two bases within an hour of me so YMMV. Of course they aren't going to stock the more exotic colors, but it's nice to just be able to go out and pick some up when you want it without having to wait for it to be shipped. I definitely get you there.
Thanks for the tutorial. I used this to make an adjustable lanyard for one of my fighting knives. Instead of tying a knot on the end, I put it through the lanyard hole then tied the knot. It works perfect!!
Fun Fact: Tom Hardy made that bracelet himself, just like he Did with Bane's bracelet, and he also made bracelets like this for the entire cast and crew
I made this a few times. What I did actually was make it bigger overal so that the adjustable part is shorter instead of heaving a long closing end. it's now more cobra weave. I enjoyed this tutorial though!
When I made those small loops in the beginning they were a bit too loose for me and my bracelet kept opening and almost falling off, I dipped that end in boiling water and it shrunk the end up a bit and now it fits great and doesn't fall open. Thanks for the tutorial!
Apparently you cared enough to comment. Also get a hobby, trying to offend people on the internet is a sign you need something to do with your free time.
awesome vid mate. i tried it using some stretchy cord instead. it gave me that paracord look but the stretch allowed me to make the slip loop shorter and less in the way. keep up the great tuts.
Aloha, Tim...I'm glad you put up the tutorial. I would just point out that the bracelet looked tan because of the desert dust on it. Someone said it is actually "foliage green". I'm using OD green, mainly, but am doing some hot pink Mad Max-ine bracelets, as well. : ) I thought the knot was a Matthew Walker knot, but a double overhand makes sense. I'm still in love with your style and your "background" (the mat, Buddha, etc.), Thanks so much for the time you spend creating your clearly presented, informative tutorials.

tanalee09 Hey Tana, thanks for the kind words, I'm glad to have a viewer like you! Thanks for watching and I'm glad you like this tutorial, you're very welcome! :)
Beautiful. I made one following the tutorial. It came out very well. My son took the one I made over the July 4 holiday, and my daughter wants one now. And a fellow in my son's studio wants one, too. Thank you, Tim.
DCavalcade That's great! Spread the love for paracord! Glad the bracelets came out well and that the kids are loving them. Thanks for sharing that with me! :)
Just made made my first bracelet a couple of minutes ago.....showed it to my family and they love it.I have a suggestion......How about a bracelet that resembles a leather bracer?......Maybe not long enough to reach the elbow but maybe like 3-4 inches or starting on the wrist to mid forearm. Awesome videos as always!! :)
in my opinion the one you made that pulls apart on both sides is much much nicer than the mad max style. dont get me wrong, mad max tyle is also cool for its simplicity. its almost as if the two are polar opposites of each other. gonna attempt to make one like yours that pulls apar on both sides. i think that looks really awesome.
I love this design. When I did this one, I put a skull bead at the end of my loop. It kinda hides the strands coming from the weave going through the loop before going through the two small loops at the other end. Looks awesome. What's better, no worries when out in the woods if that plastic buckle might fail.
Awesome video!! Can't wait to try this out!! I've been like, lowkey obsessed with paracord for a couple months now lol. I've got like 6 that I've made that are mine & some that I've made for friends and family or to sell. So your paracord vids will really help me out! Can't wait to watch more!!😁👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Excellent video. I followed along first time and succeeded in making one. Thanx for taking the time to show us. Bring on the Apocalypse so we can wear them.
Bro thanks I've been trying learn how to make this style an I kept finding those other way to make this style which is not easy but your way is the best bro
Just wanted to praise you for your page & vids great stuff indeed ps love the eternal knot symbol... Cant wait to make some of these with my daughters! thx
Can you make a military Marine corps bracelet. My fellow Marines and I would really enjoy that. I would like it to be an adjustable mad max style bracelet, that comes apart fast. It would be a major part to our load out. Thanks. It would also be cool if your added hex nuts in. I've commissioned a couple of people but none have been just right i think you could do it.
Thank you for this tutorial. Any ideas on how to possibly make a double wide version of this? I've seen it done using buckles, but thought it would be neat to do an adjustable one in this style if it isn't too complicated.
I made one and like it but, after I tighten it on my wrist it very quickly loosens itself. It doesn't fall off but it's irritating to have it move up and down my arm after just tightening it. Any solution for this? I've thought about using a rubber band after tightening it, but it probably won't look great and will make it more difficult to remove. Thanks.
Jtmurter I'd say that you should redo it. But this time make the loops where you feed the paracord through smaller. That way it won't loosen so easily.
I was able to use this and your buckleless fishtail bracelet tutorial to create a fishtail version of this. Gonna try and adapt that "captive eyelet" design on a snake knot bracelet next.
This is another work of art video. But I have one question about how you keep all your paracord bundled together? I am currently using elastics but they keep breaking. What would you recommend?
Very cool my friend, I just seen this movie about two days ago I won't spoil it for you if you have not seen it but there's alot of action for sure good movie I think ,good tutorial like always you are great ,some people don't even talk they just go to fast and I got to keep pause on to much you move at a perfect pace and your instructions are clear as can be so with all this said you are undoubtedly the best on the tube for sure thanks for sharing this I appreciate all your videos.
Fly Guy 78 Wow, thanks for the compliments my friend! I do my best in what I think is a good way to learn how to tie a certain weave and I'm glad you were able to recognize that and appreciate it. Thanks for commenting and all the kind words! :)
Awesome vids thx for sharing!! Have you seen the firefighter turnout gear bracelet online? I would love to see a tutorial on that stitch! It involves 3 colors.

How do you keep the "core" strands of a 2-strand diamond knot from twisting toward each other? Whenever I make a knot-and-loop closure for a bracelet, where the core strands stick out from the main weave before the diamond knot starts, once I tighten the diamond knot the two strands always have a tendency to twist toward each other and almost cross over. How do I keep them straight?

I've been watching these tutorials for a few weeks now, and after tying, and untying, this bracelet multiple times, mainly due to sizing, I'm now proud to say I can do the cobra stitch without much thought. WOO!!!
I'm glad it is not tough for you. What a horrible thought.

"...but I'm gonna do a diamond knot, you know, just because I can."
FTFY. You're the man.
Just getting into paracord weaving, and I LOVE bracelets that don't require buckles. Very cool!
Can also be done bicolor very easily.
+Hikari Tennyo For sure! Glad you got into it!
I went through a couple of your other tutorials and made one with a buckle. Came out great. Thanks for all your help. You make it easy to follow.
I made this a few times. What I did actually was make it bigger overal so that the adjustable part is shorter instead of heaving a long closing end. it's now more cobra weave. I enjoyed this tutorial though!
Awsome vid going to Walmart tonight to buy some paracord and I'm gonna make it!
So thanks I love your work… finally found all my paracord and made this getting back in the hobby since 2013.
This was my first Paracord bracelet it was pretty easy to make thanks

I made a lot of these (13). Thanks for instructions. Coolest bracelet ever.
Lol that's a lot! Its definitely my favorite way to wear the cobra stitch.
I have lots of colors to decide now. I'm doing turquoise and neon orange.
How does one calculate how much cord to start with vs wrist circumference?
This is the first time I see how it’s made. Thanks for the tutorial. Para(cord) to you amigo!

Thank you for this tutorial. Any ideas on how to possibly make a double wide version of this? I've seen it done using buckles, but thought it would be neat to do an adjustable one in this style if it isn't too complicated.
DAF7 You can do a king cobra stitch by taking another separate strand of paracord and just do the cobra stitch over it again.
0:51 Is there a video tutorial for the two-strand variation shown?
Great videos ! And I'm no expert for sure
Thanks Shaun! I don't consider myself an expert either. :)

very good video!! all the best for u mate!!
I was able to use this and your buckleless fishtail bracelet tutorial to create a fishtail version of this. Gonna try and adapt that "captive eyelet" design on a snake knot bracelet next.
Dexter Riley fyi: doesn't work with snake knot. It only works with stitches that are built around a solid strand core.
I need to make one of these but only need about an inch around instead of seven like your wrist applying to different application
Great video. Thx a lot!!!
But what's the circumference of this bracelet?
This was great! I made an OD Green and ACU king cobra version. Thank you.
Gerren Rabideau Awesome! You're welcome and thanks for watching!
I want to try this, love the ending. Thanks
Phyllis Luna Hope you ended up making one Phyllis! I like this style too, thanks for watching! :)

Jasper Clay Sweet! Hope you'll make many more!
This is another work of art video. But I have one question about how you keep all your paracord bundled together? I am currently using elastics but they keep breaking. What would you recommend?
Simon Cribb Thanks! I'll do a quick tutorial on how I keep my paracord bundles together. It's super simple. :)
I care about it because it's great, best regards
hello, would you please show how you did the other one in a darker color, tucked in two sides?
Don't you end up with a knot and paracord flapping around your wrist? Is that annoying in any way? Great video, thanks for making it.
Can this bracelet be shortened after I've finished it? I really need to know please?
Not really, the most you can do is maybe boil the bracelet in hot water and it might shrink a little.
Great tutorial. Thank you!

Hi thanks for the Great how to video. How much paracord do you need to start with for a larger wrist about 8 1/2"?
Thanks in advance.
+Clash King Thanks.
Your explanation is great, congratulations.
Could you tell me how many cm paracord uses to make a bracelente. I have a certain basis. Thank you.
Joanna D'Arc Castro Thanks, in the video it says 305 cm of paracord is used.
Thank you
Thanks
Awesome vids thx for sharing!! Have you seen the firefighter turnout gear bracelet online? I would love to see a tutorial on that stitch! It involves 3 colors.
Were did you buy the paracord you used ? Great video.
What is the total length of the paracord needed and what is your wrist size?
Thank You
Great tutorials thanks for sharing this with us🇨🇭👍🍫🧀
Question: Does the part of the bracelet that dangles after you close it bother people? I'm wondering if you pulled the tails under instead of over, and just fused the ends together instead of knotting then. Then the "tail" would be hidden under the bracelet, and since they're single strand they might not be a bother. What ya think?
I'd say it's up to the individual to pick a style that they like. I think part of the allure of this style is to have the little dangling portion. Many paracord bracelets they sell, even if it doesn't have a dangling part in construction, have some sort of charm or something added after for style. I personally like it. It just kinda sticks out in a low angle and never really messes with anything except for maybe if I pull a long sleeve down (but even then, the part that sticks out can help keep the bracelet from getting hidden under your sleeve!). I can understand not liking it, in that case I'd probably opt for another style of closure. The method you mentioned may work but I think it'd feel bothersome and look bulky if tucked under.
thank you
the style seems a bit dodgy. does the thing actually stay tight or do you constantly have to pull the knot to cinch it up to your wrist?
brilliant, thanks.
Великолепно 👍
you should link in the describtion where to get these paracord u used in this tutorial
I watched it about 14 times now, and I still haven't figured it out I give up
Aww, don't give up!
I pause the video at every segment i dont understand or thought went to quick for me to comprehend what i was seeing. I believe the hardest part was the beginning loops at the top and the second loop to begin the actual bracelet portion. But i saw that when you are doing the repetitive tying from one side to the other i would forget what strand was supposed to bend to the other side. I figured that the strand that points to the rear goes in front and to the other side. Once there the other strand lays on top of it bends underneath it and goes behind the bracelet and thru the loop created by the strand that was pointing to the rear. Then tighten it. Basically making a sloppy sideways figure 8 continously all the way down. Hope how i saw it helps you.
If you know how to do so, could you show us how to do an adjustable trilobite version?
james giddens I'd have to figure that one out. If I do, I'll make a tutorial.
doesn't that loop and diamond knot end catch on things if you wear it, or do you wrap up the slack somehow?
+nacetroy I've never had it catch on anything. You can of course tuck it into the bracelet, when you're wearing it.
+DarkSeraph351 Hmm... make sure they're not too twisted or crossed over before you tighten the knot.
How long is this cord in centimeter?

how to do the second bracelet., that two loop to loosen and tighten. please reply. and if you have a video of that can I get the link? Please :)
+Jan Jeffrey Beguas I have a tutorial of that bracelet. Just look up adjustable cobra stitch bracelet on my channel.
can this bracelet be made in two color s
