Epic truck. I have the FTX DR8 which runs the same driveline, suspension arms etc but on a 360mm chassis. That RC has been almost bulletproof over the last 4 years.. Hey Thad, I was browsing through AliExpress and saw this one (eye catcher) so thought I would give it a shot. Took it out yesterday and I will say on the 12t pinion it is a little ripper. I can see that I will need to get new tires for it (like the Infraction) it will destroy some tires in normal bashing. The body is a quirky looking one but I like the body style. It is a nice looking RC Robby, it is a solid built truck not much play in the suspension, the shocks are firm and feels good, took it out for a shakedown yesterday and it did really good on stock gearing. Great car and review. Beside tis I like the stickers on the transmitter, too. This set of wrenches is a great idea. These cist a lot, even at the jungle river.

The transmitter is a pretty cool looking, I was surprised when I saw the wrenches in the box with the transmitter (not expected) it's great to have another set of tools. a decent set does cost a little more than expected. I not sure, but I would think that it may be based off the ZD Racing EXO7, They haven't put anything out on it as far as electronics, so I am guessing a 150amp esc, with either a 2050 or 2000kV motor (base on the price).

When I was buying parts for the Infraction, was looking for another street basher to run with the Infraction (Model GT) and I saw this and it just looked to good to pass up. The only real difference between the DT and the GT besides the body are the staggered tires on the GT. The body on the GT is beautiful and wider than the DT. I have them both. I have a video of them side by side on my channel. 👍👍👍@@sparetimerc
Superb unboxing Al finely arrived 💪 That's the exact same as the suparfoza GT apart from the rear wheels size and I'm sure the rear gearing is different because of it . If you are going to get bigger pinions get another cooling fan for the motor also There is toe adjustment on the front also it's on the hub carrier . The cut out on the wheel arches is to prevent some of that burning rubber getting into the chassis 😁🤣 . I'm looking forward to seeing running footage.have a great weekend 👊💥
Hi Fonzie, it did arrive it came in 3 day's then expected. I did read in the parts manual that the front input & crown gearing is 18t/43t and the rear is 16t/43t, guessing to make up for the rear tire being the same diameter as the front. My plan is to run it on 12/14t pinion first to see if the motor and esc get a little warm, and if that happens I have two fans ready to install in it. I do have a question for you concerning the camber adjustment for the front of the model dt. Any idea on how to get the front tires to sit flat?
