  • We have been given ideal conditions to get out and top dress some of our crops with urea.
    A change in the weather forecast means a change in plans. I get some finishing touches done to the sprayer, so we can put it to use before some wintery weather sets in.

    Nice to get some rain after all that work. Hope the heavens open up a bit more for the rest of the season as well.

    Also # sheep, # fertilizer, # working on equipment, etc. Any way to capture those people that do searches and can find you from your hash tags.

    Maybe add # John Deere Tractor # sowing Barley # sowing wheat # sowing Canola, etc to catch people that do different searches and then your channel will grow with new subscribers.

    Glad to see inches is still the preferred way to measure. 😜🇺🇸 I know it’s not American, it’s just we are the only ones stubborn enough to keep using it. 😜

    Those little canola seedlings look like broccoli. Sure you didn't mix up your seed 🙃

    Morning Henry. Good to see some green rows & no dust at least. Have you had good recent rain?

      @timeddy8779 not really mate. We accumulated 27mm last month and about the same so far this month. That's about half average and no decent falls yet, just showers.

      Bloody tough year isnt it. At least all your urea spreading hasnt been in vain @lockvalleyfarms981

      @timeddy8779 Still shooting for average. We're never farming for drought. It's just part of the game. While the season is alive and kicking, we'll give the crops what they need for average. Glad to get the moisture to put the urea to work.

    You’re a relatively young fella that was taught the metric system. So why do you speak in inches sometimes? Is it easier to use inches instead of cm or mm?

    • @Clint450f
      @Clint450f หลายเดือนก่อน

      I was taught metric too but use both. Some machinery is imperial and some volume or size measurements it's easier to use imperial. Depends what it is and what you're doing for me.

      Thanks to a lot of spraying components coming from the USA they are all 1” pipes. The machine also being from the USA the spacing are at 15 or 20 inches from factory unlike Aussie made which are 250 or 500 mm. Aussie farmers still need tape measures that read both systems
