This is truly masterful. Easy to follow and beautifully enunciated. Thank you.
A question for you. I am converting a large flat database to relational using the "Analyze table" wizard. How do I increase the size of the window as I can't scroll to all of the created tables?

If you need to add like a hundred different drop down menus / combo boxes, do you do them one by one? What if you have all the fields ready in Excel, how do you approach importing data for multiple combo boxes? Do you need a different table for each of those 100 combo boxes?

So my supervisor is asking me to pull any info from the form I created on any student( I work at a college). He thinks the form is like an online data base, kinda like a search engine but isn't this limited to the main access data base? Isn't the form just a duplicate of your access data sheet right? So what he is asking can't be possible. Am I wrong? Some help please.

If the student data is stored in an online database, it may be possible to pull data with an Access form (even if it isn’t stored in your Access database). However, you will first need to link your Access database to the online database, which is fairly advanced. This is a bit outside our area of expertise, but this article may help you decide whether this will be feasible with your database: support.office.com/en-us/article/Import-or-link-to-data-in-an-SQL-Server-database-a5a3b4eb-57b9-45a0-b732-77bc6089b84e.

When I click the combo box in the field, nothing happens. The wizard box does not open to allow me to enter values.

Sounds like a glitch. Have you tried closing Access 2016 entirely and then reopening it?

@@GCFLearnFree I did and it worked for a while, but then it's back to not working.

We're sorry to hear it! Unfortunately, we're a small nonprofit and don't offer troubleshooting services. We recommend further Googling this to see whether it's a common and/or easily fixable Access issue. Sorry we couldn't be more helpful to you!
