I feel like Dennis had Bigfoot but he yielded and didn't ram him which cost him the race, you can see that it was either go down into some rough mud that wasn't on the track or run over bigfoot as he flew to the finish line. damn man this course was bogus in execution, I like the idea of the Z course if its done correctly and not all kittywompus
Always cool to see the monster trucks in an unusual track like this. Bigfoot vs Grave Digger was wild not to mention the finals, Bigfoot vs Ecology Eliminator...
Why couldn't the USHRA just copy the TNT Motorsports points and race format? That was they way to go and build more serious interest in the Sport of Monster Truck racing
TNT was in financial trouble and was probably sold cheap. I suspect USHRA purchased TNT for a few reasons other than that, none being to continue the points series. More than likely it was: 1) To gain access to venues that TNT had already booked to expand their schedule (especially if TNT had exclusive use of any of them) 2) Ownership of their video library (this has happened in pro wrestling a lot, for example the WWE buying the rights to [literally] worthless organizations like ECW only for their video library) 3) Getting trucks like Carolina Crusher and Grave Digger to race with USHRA, who otherwise wouldn't have been; along with truck & tractor pullers. 4) Redman sponsorship And lastly, this is probably the main reason: 5) Taking over TNT's ESPN and syndication TV time slots. This alone was probably worth the price of what they obtained TNT for.
Is the driver of the Eliminator serious? He expects BIGFOOT to yield "right of way" during a race...what is this, a stop sign at a city intersection??? Bigfoot clearly did NOT go into the other lane...Jim Kramer in BIGFOOT, cut the final turn as tight as he could...the Eliminator should have gone out wider. If anything, with a course this narrow, Eliminator went into BIGFOOT'S lane.
The track was a garbage design. I agree Bigfoot stayed in his rightful lane and ran a good race, but Eliminator and Grave Digger got screwed, they both would have beat Bigfoot, but got the outside lane into the last turn which was a horrible design.

I love the intro of the Super Trax series. That intro is how you excite everyone to watch these monsters go.

That was of little interest to them. Many of the more competition oriented people moved over to the Special Events Penda Points Series in 1991
