I played against the Wizard in an exhibition and he hammered me and at the end of the match he gave me a set of his own darts because I was the only one to score 140 against him all night..
What a champion he is 🎯

after meeting simon in person at a social club tournament, he still has the hunger, hes an amazing guy

Great to see that big smile on the Wizards parents face, family that’s what’s it’s all about
When Smith is a bit off it seems natural to think he's just throwing too quickly, however when he's on, he doesn't throw any more slowly or quickly.
He is something of an enigma.
It was so nice seeing the crowd behind Whitlock probably the nicest player in darts and the reason for so many Australians playing darts
The crowd seems to have hated Aspinall though

These are in Australia obviously so on really late over there so early morning here they are repeated on ITV4 between 9 and 11 at night I think

Asp getting a taste of his (fans) own medicine (not that it's a good thing of course), his opponents often seem to get the most whistles in England... He dealt with it in an entertaining way here to be fair to him

I have to be absolutely frank here… Whitlock should have won 6-2 and I have no idea what tactics Nathan Aspinall was doing with the crowd, but the crowd was disrespectful as usual with the whistling and booing especially at the end.

Disgraceful that an MC is not present to bring Order to a madly vociferous crowd,or at any rate calm them down - it brings the game into disrepute & should not be allowed as it's not a fair contest. It clearly allowed Simon Whitlock( who is of course a great player !) but to win like that is no good. The screaming & booing does have effect.

Never been to watch the darts live but surely the crowds behaviour towards Nathan Aspinall is a bit over the top. Not much of a fair match if everyone is hyping Simon up and then booing and whistling at Nathan while he's throwing. I'm ok with cheering and home ground advantage. But the intentional distractions shouldn't be allowed.

Players can use whatever darts they like in a match, can't they ? Why should this be stopped ? Does it give a player an advantage to keep changing their darts ? No of course it doesn't.
