- 👋🏻 Hey guys! In today's video, I explain how the Martingale strategy in roulette. Roulette is one of the easiest casino games to play and understand. We will go over the Martingale strategy to win at roulette and 𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐈 𝐝𝐨 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲 𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲!! This is for European Roulette but will also work for American Roulette although with slightly worse odds. Hope you guys can find it insightful but be careful about betting any money.
I wanted to make this video because I really think its important for people to understand how the maths works behind betting - it is not a game of luck but rather a game with a quantifiable edge for the casino or house with an element of variance. Of course when you start off with mathematical betting, there will be a bit of a steep learning curve.

I've been playing the same system for years. I play $45 per spin. $5 each on 6, 18, & 29 with $10 on each corner touching my single numbers (example: the corners between 6/8/9/5, 18/20/17/21, 29/33/30/32). I buy in with $225 and that gives me 5 spins. My goal is to hit one of my corner numbers to keep me afloat until I hit a single. When I hit a single it pays $175 + $80 for the corner. I've never actually sat down and done the math but it works at a high rate for me. Also, you have to leave when you hit a single.
With these bets you're expected to lose $1.215 per spin on average on a European wheel and $2.385 on an American wheel.
I'm zero game 8 and 17 and maybe 21 every now and then!

each round is a discrete probability, which means your next round's odds does not depend on the previous one. Getting a red previously doesn't increase your chance of getting a black. So it all depends on how much money is your comfort level of betting. If you bet long enough, eventually the win rate will become close to that 48% ish. But someone could lose 7 times in a row and scared of keep doubling the bet and decided to call it a day. this becomes a loss. It's only close 100% win if you are bill gates type of rich with a minimum initial bet.
Its the odds of how often a color comes in a row thats getting lower the longer your chain gets
it does affect, your probabilty of hitting the next one after a series of reds will increase for you to hit black because there is a 50/50 chance

It's very simple: the wheel has no memory and the bank has one/two slots more than you have.
The house edge makes arbitrage strategies hard to from, though we may still gain profit by taking in consideration of the online site's bonuses with their required wager in it. Chances are those site offers rebate on the valid bets we put on, so in theory, if we have enough rebate percentage and a sufficient bonus within our account, we may walk out as a winner.
online roulette is extra rigged. not only they have the normal edge over players they also use electrostatic to sway things even more in their favor.

I’ve personally seen one color come up more than 20 times in a row. If anyone thinks it’s impossible for it to go that way or that long, think again.
If maybe rate but…. It happens and happens frequently (maybe not over 20 times everytime) But the stretch happens with the same color often and if you can only martingale 7 times then you’re screwed. 🤷🏼♀️

@@chungus8078 any 20 times in a row combination has the same low probability, as the probability of any long sequence is lower, the longer the sequence because it just gets more difficult to predict.

And I've seen 11 rounds without any red number sessions. And actually there was a guy who was playing on red all this time using this very same method. He ended up losing 20470 $ chasing his 10 $ win 🤷♂️

Get larger double up margin like 15 or 16 chances . Stop at each 3 losses and go after it comes back to normal and spread the next 3 (this works amazing on the aviator game which is provably fair and can go from one to a million cashing out at 2x) with 15 chances you can alternate between how many times you'll go if it keeps losing (you could do 3.6.6 or 3. 2. 2 .2 .2 .2.2 so many different arrangements. The game also flows like forex up and down that also helps. Peace 🙏

Lowering your start value so you have a longer leg (more redo chance). If you start with $5 then you’ll have 5 chances and if you start with $2 then you’ll have a 6 chances to redeem your loses

Minimum betting amount, is how casinos get around this. Also have max so that you cant just make 1 bet and double it until you win.....which will always work unless they put a cap on bets.

You can protect yourself a little bit. By betting red and low, might hit both or if you only hit one then you break even
winning probability would actually be 4x (18/37)^3 + (18/37)^1 x 100 = 6.59% chance, so the chance of it hitting the losing side 3x and last spin winning would be 11.15%, while 4x the losing side would be (19/37)^4 x 100 = 6.95%
so u are wrong on probability, it has a lower chance to win since the losing chance is higher than the winning chance

roulette is hard to beat consistently, especially if you play online as they tend to rig the games with magnets. What worked for me was exploiting some online slot machines for my advantage and playing it in a different way than most do. On avg, making 400 day right now for the last three weeks while still trying to stay under the radar. Pretty good if you ask me😎

Also, if you see 23, and 24 close to eachother, start betting on 9...and neighbours.
I started with $100 and went WAY lower than his prescribed 1/15 bet, and went with .25$ bets. It takes way longer but you can double 8 times before going bankrupt. 9 if your bankroll gets to 200, and 10 if your bank roll gets to 300.
The problem is the max bet I started with £205 then made it up to £350 in about 2.5 hours then they changed max bet to £150 so that means 8 tries then I lose all my money it’s not worth it tbh unless the max bet is like. 12 tries max bet should be 2k and minimum pay like 20p I played on william hill roulette

Mathematically speaking: every round is independent, people who think yeah but the chances are low that it will hit red 10 times are wrong because every round is independent and there is 50% chance every time. So it could hit 20 times and your jaw drop if you didnt think it through. Speaking in general: It's true that it doesn't happen so often, not like every 10 min you know. This is gambling. If you are going to play roulette, its better to deploy this strategy than randomly bet because that's a certain lose in most cases. The thing with this strategy is that the only way to lose would be because of a row. You have to keep in mind that each round is independent from the previous so your chances stay the same, its just because you increase the bet you try to catch up. Nothing changes. However, like I said, in general the row doesn't happen that often.
One strategy I do is i do at least two bets( one color and 1 to 18) I also put at least 4 dollars on 0 and 00 shared bet. If I don't win I simply increase on red by 5 dollars( if black came one time red might come so I'll win more than I lost). Try changing the bet based on previous results( if it's three past 19 to 36, most likely it won't repeat so go for 0 and 1to18 for a victory)

@@ignasnavickas2199 yes there is 50/50 chance of landing red/black or odd/even; however, law of averages means that after each time of consecutively landing on one colour, the likelihood increases that the next will be a different colour. For example; although it is entirely possible to land 10 consecutive reds, it is highly unlikely.
If anyone is a card counting this would be a good strategy to incorporate on a game the casinos know isn't an advantage players edge game, using this strategy to minimize losses taking heat off of you and potentially getting reward points as well for amount wagered even tho the losses are theoretically contained over the long term. just an idea tho

I used to be a dealer in the casino, first game was Roulette. I once made the entire board, which was 12 numbers all red, once all black. If some unlucky people playing on martingale, he's gonna be broke😂
From my experience electronic machine always catch on and i can hear them laughing by coming up with the opposite color over 10+ spins and then BAM a zero or double zero hits to clear out. I've seen this over the years in many many casinos. It happens on the tables as well. They are all controlled. Smartest thing to do is when your up $30 or $300 or $3k cash out and go for a walk. Then come back and play again same strategy or a different one for another $20-$30 or $2k-$3k depending on where your playing and how much you have to play with
No, the machines are NOT controlled. It is a normal behavior as predicted by mathematics. And it doesn't matter if you take a break. All is just pure luck.
@@carloscortez6024The machines are not USUALLY controlled. There are places that will do it, though usually it will never negatively impact your average gambler. They'll go after big, repeated betters. Most people will quit after a heavy loss.
Some casinos have minimum bets for the even chance bets it’s usually high like $25 minimum however to place a bet on a number the minimum is $5.

The martingale can work if you have a huge or unlimited bank roll and no table limits or bet increments.
you need to be able to double your bet consistently until you win, theoretically you could start with a $1 bet and have a bad streak that ends up a million dollar+ bet just to make back your $1 investment.. then start again with another $1 bet
The key ingredients to use Martingale MM Strategy is to have a Huge Bankroll. I suggest 500 times of the table minimum. Try to have at least 8 levels of Martingale. Have a good place betting strategy. If a players cant win 1 out of 8 then they didn't adjust what the game was doing. Was it chopping? Was it streaking? a good time is to not play every spin/hand. If you lose 3 in a row. Sit out a spin or two to see what is going on. I love the Martingale. I am great looking for trends and knowing when to play the opposite or playing houseway. Know your place betting strategies. Know when to play them and when to switch to another one. All strategies work till they start to cycle. Have to learn when to switch strategies based on what the game is doing. Trends change so you have to adapt. :)
Mathematically you’ll still lose. There is no “strategy”. Is it fun? Of course. But due to the large numbers’ law you’ll eventually loose

I used a similar strat but instead of betting to the amount of four losses, I bet for 6 or 7. I win much less but even by winning a dollar at a time I’ve been able to get 120 dollars an hour doing this

Not roulette, but here's a completely true story about the danger of not understanding one of the basics of probabilty - that what has just happened has no bearing on the probability of what is about to happen.
In my home town, every year, there is a fair. At this fair the local Rotary Club run a little game to raise money for charity. People pay £ 1 to roll 6 dice; if they all come up 6 then they win a car; the car is worth about £20,000. The chances of rolling six 6's are 1/46656.
The game is really just for fun and to raise money for charity. There is not a big chance of the car being won, but, just in case, the organisers have an insurance policy so that they don't lose the money spent on the car if somebody does win it.
For years, nobody won. Then, one year, somebody did throw six 6's and won the car when the game had only been running a few minutes. This gave the organisers a problem, because now nobody would play anymore and the charity would not make any money. So they discussed it and decided that, since the odds were very long and, especially, that since somebody had just won, so it was even less likely that anyone would win again soon, they could safely carry on, with another car offered as a prize, and the charity would still get some money. About three hours later, somebody threw six 6's, and this time there was no insurance.

Yup this is not the best strategy. You take a large amount of bankroll to win pittance. On a bad day you can lose all by doubling up too early.
I don't think I've seen roulette table without 00 in any casino I've ever been in. Because of this, all the math is wrong...

But even outside of the US I have yet to find a single 0 table anywhere from Mexico to France to Australia. It's a nice video but it really isn't representing the common type of table

I have a similar method and theory of what I've learnt - Betting £5/£5/£10/£15/£25 and so on - a chance of 11 conseestive misses is 1 in 75 chance (around 1.25% thereabouts of happening), but what I do is await when the coloum is at least 5/6 loosing streak to then start this betting sequence if win we restart, but I switch innstead of staying on the same colour
As 16+ loosing streak is at 1 in 555+ that is astonishing 0.5% or there of happening! WOW - ive done 8 games and having big breaks (most loosing streak was 13 but I went in later and stood at 9 before the big win when betted £105 for £315 profit!! - Betting on at a 2to1 - I will be doing a channel for this and LIVE plays too!
Have you lost? I’ve done the same. Once it’s 3 reds, I bet black and double it if I lost until I win. The roulette I play at my casino is online/computer, I don’t think it’s programmed to hit red or black more than 8 times in a row.

Going by the comments it seems like 26 is the record for highest consecutive run of a single colour. If you started (hypothetically) with 2 billion dollars you could stand to lose a maximum of 30 rounds using the martingale strategy, with a standard bet of $1. I'd curious to see a program run through that scenario, to see whether this just a problem of capital or not...

You can search online for simulations. You can never win at roulette in the long run.
Most wheels now have Double 0 - (00). I was out in Vegas and they have a bigger racket going….they have 0, 00, and then a Casino Logo slot technically 3 “greens”.

I also experimented in the past with a modified Martingale. Instead of doubling the next bet after a loss, I would add one or two dollars, then the next bet I would add again. This helps in the long run to gain extra on the wins before you end up getting too many losses in a row to ruin the strategy. I'd be curious to know how that might change the odds. Not the odds of winning; but the odds of increasing your cash. So let's say you play 100 hands with the exact same number of wins and losses in the same order. With one you play a straight Martingale, and with the other you add $2 to every bet, with your first bet always at $10. So instead of 10-20-40-80 you would bet 10-22-46-94. In the modified version, if you win the second bet you win $12, then $14, and last bet $16 rather than only $10. You're still risking more, so maybe it would be the same? I don't know. But in my experience, the best way to play any Martingale strategy is to know when to quit.

@@need100k The thing is that I am applying it to trading, I trade only when I see a situation where price can go where I think will go, I am running tests applying Martingale with some variation (instead of double my previous losing trade, I apply 2.5x). I have not done many tests yet and I am aware of the risks. I also apply the Martingale where I have enough capital to trade 12 or 13 times, after 13 times I get bankrupt :)
The key is I apply it to trading instead of gambling.

The best way to win in roullette is do not play it at all 🤓
Good morning....It turns out that reality is another color red, or the color black can repeat up to more than ten consecutive times, you would have to have a very high capital to be able to follow the martingale, and on the other hand there are roulette wheels or casinos that have betting limits so if a color exceeds more than 10 consecutive you are fried total loss..........there is no system or method not even sure to win at roulette,,,,, yes you leave a number out without playing it or you don't bet it, that same number can be repeated up to 4 consecutive times because I have seen it.....conclusion, there is no safe method or system......... You can bet and when you win 2 or 3 times, go out and so on at different times and it's still not safe.
I dont gamble but if you have 4 losing in a row just change the color to black, why stick with red on a losing streak. Black then win and reset

If you have the fortitude to stick it out, you can get out of the deep holes that will come when using the martingale. However, you're also going to run up against the table limits when you get a long streak where you lose. Go ahead and try it on a game you can download to your phone first.
instead of doubling, you can follow the fibonacci sequence (2,3,5,8,13,21...)
i ran it multiple times on simulations and it can win you a tiny amount over long time, but you need to play less than 1/100 of your budget (1/1000 the best, based on game theory)
That's what I've been playing with. You really need a larger bank role to lower the odds of losing everything on a huge losing streak but it is a good way to slowly make money at a lower risk. Larger bank role and small bets are key.
With the martingale system you could end up broke with in minutes I'd just go for the most recent numbers on quarter's the amount of time I've seen double numbers is crazy also when your down to your last bet I'd always bet green I've never been less happy to see a 0 when I've bet on red or black

I've used a similar strategy before without even really thinking about it, putting like £1 on black over and over and if it streaks for 4 ill dramatically increase the stake every time. Its just so risky, I was successful like once but uncessful many more times
Ive hit reds 11 times in a row doing this! Play slow think about the overall probably of the colour(currently) that is farthest from the actual probability.
Shane, this is mathematically wrong. You have to separate between "connected probability" (like in Lotto) and not connected probability (like in roulette). There is absolutely no difference to the probability in a single bet. Win and loss probability is no changing no matter how often you play the game and no matter how you change your bet. Best from a Doctor of Mathematics from Switzerland.

You could think that strategy is smart in the beginning. But when you are a real roulette player you are going to understand there is no logic in the roulette. Its a perfect game without mistake. Be realistic guys. This is just luck. No strategy, no logic to win . Just play for fun and dont be addicted. End of the day casino will win. If they not, they will end of the week. But definitely they will.
If it doesn't work then why am I so good at it. Yes I'm not undefeated but I'm very tough to beat in roulette. I have a large bankroll and only win 5% or less as my goal. I'm not greedy, drunk or stupid when I play, I take it very seriously.

Perfect method to blow up your whole balance to chase a 10 bucks win. But I agree if you apply margindale with a hit and run method you can win 10 bucks, but potentially you need to bet 1000 at some point to get that tenner back ;-) Margindale is chasing losses technique, and it will always fail in the long term. Risk/reward is out of balance.
This is my method and I leave the casino 9/10 times as a winner. It takes money to make money.
You are not profiting with this strategy if you are only winning 9/10 times considering you are only winning a small amount but when you are losing you are losing much more you would need at least a 94% win rate probably a 95% win rate not a 90% win rate

Martingale will make you lose your bankroll faster. You are not accounting for the fact there are losses due to a choppy roulette. Also, most players forget to put a bet on zero as a back up.

If I remember rightly, the Monte Carlo Casino hit 29 blacks in a row back in the 1930's. Enormous fortunes were lost that night.
Important factor u missed are the minimum and maximum bets which make this method obsolete
You also forget to factor in the wheel trend. It tilts the odds in any given senario. If it is %48 red, %48 black. Never bet black or red. If its skewed %53 black %42 percent red. Yes bet black and use a better progression. You have the edge over the casino at that point

Unless the the wheel is not operating correctly or there is cheating involved the “wheel trend” is useless. The odds are always fixed with what you pick each spin. The wheel could’ve hit red 10 times in a row previously and the chances of it hitting red again the next spin are still the same.
Actually, just betting on the same number again and again until this number comes up has a lower expected loss than the martingale strategy. (in casinos with 35 to 1 payout on a number and one zero in the game) In your example with a 10$ bet the expected loss would be 27 cents rather than over a dollar.
Betting on the same Number until It comes out and betting random numbers until you get one are the same exact thing mathematically speaking

Just allocate a bigger budget or smaller minimum bets, then increase $5-10 with each additinal loss + doubling. I once lost 13 times in a row and wiped myself out, now I make sure I have sufficient funds to cover this anomoly, just to be sure. Haven't wiped out yet. I'm betting 15-20 extra every hand, with a 30-35k budget it is optimal. Depending on the table or platform you should make 45-60 per minute.
The thing is you don't have to place your bet always on red or on black. You can do it alternatively as you wish. Since the payout on black or red is double, it won't affect you. This method is far better than throwing all of the 150 dollars down the drain in one chance

There is no difference. Each roll has a slightly less than 50% of winning regardless. A streak of alternating colors has the same probability of a streak of the same color happening.

If I lose 7 on the bounce I’m more than willing to part with my 635. It would need to happen 3 days in a row for me to be a loser now. I calculate that my chances of hitting 800 using this method are roughly 81.2% on any given day.

In inclusive of 4 try . I lose the 6%. Meaning I lose 4 rounds. This method is quite efficient because the more you set your number of trials is the more you likely to winback your profit.
Ex. Losing in Bet 10,20,40,80 for 4 rounds is more likely to occur than Losing in Bet 10,20,40,80,160 for 5 rounds.
Saddest part is when you keep on losing those set of bets, there is a crazy down track of your money.

In a brick and mortar casino I started betting Black after a string of 7 Reds and Reds continued to fill the board of 12 Reds. I eventually reached Table Limit of $2000 bet and Red hit again so I lost a total of $5000. In a live online roulette game I was Martingaling Even bets starting with $1 units and a string of 17 Even numbers came up and nearly wiped out my account. Stop Loss is very important using Martingale to avoid HUGE losses! Be careful because the unexpected can happen and HAS happened MANY times.
It does work though. You can offset this by bringing more money to cover losses, and not betting big until red or black streaks of 4 or 5

Last week on online Xxxtreme Lightning Roulette 23 reds in a row came up with one zero. Starting with only one $1 and waiting for a string of 6 blacks you would bet and then double 16 bets up to $32,678 accumulating all the losses along the way. A Stop Loss is very important to avoid HUGE losses. I can’t imagine many people starting with $1 units have even $10,000 in their account to cover such losses. Even $1000 can be wiped out in 10 minutes.
The title of this video suggests how to win 93% of the time. It does not mention getting completely wiped out 7% of the time if you don’t limit yourself to a stop loss.

No because the odds of it landing red 5 times in a row is much less then it landing on any one of the other spins because you can have it land on black on any of the spins whereas red needs to be hit every time
