Great to hear the waves in the background. This campsite must have been used by people traveling by canoe along the shore. Great finds. 300 years seems like yesterday.

Silver Broaches were amongst the most heavily traded items to the natives. The French and English both traded them for furs. They were easy to produce and light to carry. The Ottawa Indians loved to wear lots of silver.
More exciting finds! Do you post finds on a forum? I have found a lot of similar relics and I lost on American Detectorist under Bucknut. It’s a very small forum.
