I know this will seem ironic as I'm posting it online, but I truly think the internet destroyed the mystery of games. I still vividly remember picking up sonic unleashed and gazing at that great box art and taking it home and getting blown away. These days I've already seen all the trailers and reveals and all that and the magic is kind of gone. I'd like to go into internet blackout, but there's so many content creators I enjoy. It's just not the same anymore.
Not sure if you posted this on the right video, but I can definitely relate Games just don't feel as fun to "explore" anymore when the territory that you've yet to chart could show up right in your face at any moment without you discovering it yourself
play the dark souls games! watch no gameplay. Just go for it. Great games and amazing worlds to explore. All the fromsoft games are worth checking out forreal

I could not agree more! As someone who's played almost main game/spinoff, hating this game as much as some do would feels wrong. Is it my favorite 3D sonic? No, far from it when it'd be competing against the adventure games. However still overall a good game nonetheless
06’s Issues have almost always been on the technical side. Fix the insurmountable amount of bugs, engine issues, and whatnot, then you’re suddenly left with a Masterpiece. ChaosX’s P-06 has been proving that to me recently.
I don't know about anybody else, but I liked this game and it's glitches. I didn't like how at the end of the game Sonic died but at least he came back to life. Sonic is a sweet heroic hedgehog that will never disappoint me.😁⭐💙🖤❤️👍👍✌️✌️
I have the ps3 version and have never experienced any glitches, I don’t understand why people keep calling it a “glitchy mess” when there are hardly any glitches.

If they actually finished it so it played as it was supposed to and slapped a Chao Garden on there it would have been an awesome SA3 as it was supposed to be. It fucking pains me that it turned out like this. If things had just been different Sonic would be in a much better place right now.

Compare this absolutely amazing track to Sweet Mountain Act 2 from Sonic Colors Ultimate. I mean come on. The standards of Sonic music have sunk so low. This track has such emotion and fits the level so well. It has a real underwater secret base feel to it. Then the Colors Ultimate soundtrack is just nasty punch beats that are way too loud and random screechy synths.

I feel like comparing even regular/original Colors to 06 OST would still make it feel like “the music sunk so low” . So i don’t even think using colors ultimate is a fair example. Colors is a completely different game. While I love the 06 OST, I’m one of those that just fucking loves Unleashed OST, the Riders series (especially zero gravity), and Secret Rings OST
The music in most Sonic games is top-notch but this one is the most memorable for me because of it’s super cool and epic feel to it. Unleashed’s soundtrack is good, but it’s quite overrated and some of it’s tracks don’t really feel Sonic-y to me or just get on my nerves. This one doesn’t get nearly enough praise..
Where do you feel snowy vibes in this? An underwater base reminds me of bioshock, and this song is perfectly eerie just like the underwater bases in bioshock.

The piano is the one that gets me, it just sounds cold and icy to me (after the intro) rather than watery. Could be for the "Base" part of the song but I'm not hearing a "Base" to be honest.
