Another version of The Best Is Yet To Come from the first MGS game. With Classical Guitar, Pan Flute, Piano and Orchestra. I just thought I should've put drums in. Oh well Im not done with this music anyway, I will do another cover down the road.

I get all sorts of feelings whenever I listen to this and it's very hard to explain how nice it is. I can literally hear the characters talking. I guess Snake was right, memories really are wordless.

This game changed my mind way back in 2000 when i just graduated from HS. Me and four of friends were going to join the Marines(which they did). After playing this game, I purposely fail the asvabe test which means I wasn't able to join the Marines. Long story short, I'm proud of my friends who went and fought us but after they came back...they were all so quiet. Everything changed....no more laughter no more joking around....So sad. Everything about what Merrill and Sniper Wolf said was so true about Wars...

We grew up during the best time. Great consoles, games, great films, great TV shows. I don't really think there is any series out there on ps3/360 that is on par with MGS on PS. (In terms of story and character development).

I got a wild hair up my rear at work today and listened to the MGS OST.. Caught a piano version and went surfing.. Found this and I have to say, this one out does that and the instrumental version I heard... Thank you for this. In the future, I hope you don't mind me borrowing this to use in a video (that may never happen..)

I'm going to play this when my daughter finally gets wed, and it's time for my dance. I just hope the deceit and lack of trust in my generation doesn't transfer to her, and she can eventually learn to truly appreciate the sacrifices of other men and women in this age. This served as a reminder that there are good things in life, and we must take the time to appreciate them.

Its funny. I was upstairs in my sleep attic, setting up my new closet. Had al kinds of different music on, rock and metal and country and stuff, but somehow this song suddenly came on and get overwhelmed with some emotions. Like it wassomewhat meant to be. Weird. TH-cam suprises me sometimes. Brought me back some overwhelming memories from mgs and the instrumental how it is played here is amazing
