I'm obsessed with all of these!!! Most DIYs they try to make seem so easy but it ends up being soooo much work! You really make everything look so doable. And I love how you styled the green side of the belt. It looks gorgeous
Lexikailani what an awesome comment!! Thank you so much! I was afraid to make this my first episode because it's slightly more complicated but it's still SO DOABLE! I'm glad you watched, thanks !

I found her channel last night and I must say this happens only in her channel on whole TH-cam .. thanks a ton ..👍🏻 keep growing .. love from India 🇮🇳 country of diy’s
You were spot on, choosing the fabric you did - the last thing you want to deal with is boning! Those days are over for me, no more patience! Loved the double sided as well... hmmm might update a vintage 70’s suede one with something fun! Loving your channel! 😘🦇⚡️Jet
This is incredible! I have decided to do a cosplay overnight (Terrible idea, i know) and the other pattern stuff was wayy to complicated for me - I really apreciate you explaining this in "commoner" language!
I made the no sew jean skirt from jeans from your video and it turned out amazing!! Now I want to do a longer version. But I'm here for the belt today! My daughters cosplay needs this belt. I'm so excited to see how you do this! Thank you btw. I love your videos and your taste.
I am so late to the party but I love corset type clothing and you just popped up in my recommended. This is STUNNING and you totally nailed it. I especially appreciate the fact that it can be reversed to increase wearability. I am literally grabbing my scissors after I finish writing. Thank you so much for sharing.
Obsessed! I want to make this to wear for my birthday!! I watched your video on adding silk scarves to lace up shoes and now I can’t stop watching your videos. Thank you for sharing your creative mind!!
I love watching Amber Scholl. I randomly cane across your channel and I’m SUBBING. I honestly love your creativity already 😍😍 Beautiful, you didn’t even need to sew the hem. Very nice ❤️❤️
Is that corset belt really as comfortable on you as it looks to be ? Really ?? And so freaking easy to make !! I've watched so many corset making videos and I was like " I can never make it like that ". And then BOOM. Your video hits in and it's everything !!

Orly absolutely love this diy ...I live in a small town but I’m gonna track down some leather and do this as it will look stunning in the winter with dresses ....hugs from Ireland xPx
In order for the belt to maintain its shape and not bend or fold when you sit down you need boning of plastic or metal. Some people use zip ties and cut them to put in between the two layers and sew into the inner layer with a middle layer or fabric or sew outer and inner layers together.
Yes thank you soooo much. I wanted s belt like this . I have an idea for mine, I would like a faux suede on one side and the faux croci on the other in another color. I’ll have to see what joAnn fabric has to offer. Also I’m happy to see your doing home fashion as well I’m delighted. Can I please give a suggestion on home? Please do something with Audrey Hepburn in mind. I want to do a bedroom of mind in like breakfast at Tiffany theme,. Pillows, wall decor, everything but I have no idea what to do or how to take the lead in what I want to do. Then I can use all turquoise , a little white sand black Thank you again. Your a true friend in my head.
could you do a hem on it? I can't imagine that edge looks amazing up close. how do you add that to such a thick material without destroying your machine
Hello! IS the corset belt IS only for women or can Men use It too? Can we wear It over white shirt as shown in the vídeo? Can you put It over the really long sweatshirt?
Okay quick question , if we do both side do we use the groomet tool after each and fasten the two different fabrics separately and then put them together or hole punch both then we fasten them together as one using the lil male n female thingy
Nice job, it looks very neat. Just some thoughts here. When you glue up the 2nd layer/contrast material, i think it would be advisable to actually sew them together, to keep the fabrics from working apart at the glue surfaces from bending. When you pull tight the lacing, and take the garment off later, do you completely unlace the front ? Reason i am asking is that the tassels on the ends of the black lacing will not pass through the grommets, so they have to be removable. To sew in boning channels is not really that hard, and in the USA and elsewhere you are spoiled for choice. Here in South Africa we do not get steel boning, straight or spiral, or the busking to make decent corsets. That is unless you pay through your ears to bring the stuff into the country. That being said, there are ways to cheat on getting stiff boning, use wide/thick zip-ties, they work like magic. For the closures there are always zippers, strips of bra-hook-and-eye closures, belt buckles and more.
Kristina Ruiz shoot I don’t remember exactly. But if you park on maple and 9th area and walk around you should find a few options. It was a corner store on the east corner.
Okay, so I just saw these is 4 years old. I came a cross this how? i don't remember haha but I want to make it. Unfortunately, I did not find material thick enough, so this NEEDS boning! I'm searching and searching, i get the just of adding boning. But I don't think it will turn out good. You don't see in this tutorial. Is there a video where you add boning to this type of belt??? Hope you reply 😢 😁
I just freaking love your channel. I was looking at Pinterest looking to make my 2020 fall clothing boards and thought the corset belt would be a great addition to my wardrobe this year. Dude I have been binge watching your videos you are so clever with the DIYs!!! Super inspired
yay!!! thanks for that!
The green one looks BOMB!! I think I would sew the perimeter for a better finish.
Yes you totally could! I was afraid it would leave an indent on the edge and then draw more attention to the edges but you could totally do it!
You did great not sewing it, I think with that fabric it would have been a disaster.
Not a fan of the design itself but I enjoy watching you make these would be expensive products out of next to nothing! Crafty lady ☺

Hi! Pleasee, Can You write down the name of the fabric You used?
Hello! IS the corset belt IS only for women or can Men use It too? Can we wear It over white shirt as shown in the vídeo? Can you put It over the really long sweatshirt?
new favorite youtuber!!!!!!
Thank you so much!!
What kind of fabric is it? So I can buy some online x
This is absolutely beautiful
Where can we get the eyelet hole punchy thing?
Okay quick question , if we do both side do we use the groomet tool after each and fasten the two different fabrics separately and then put them together or hole punch both then we fasten them together as one using the lil male n female thingy
Put them together and then put the grommets in to connect the two even more
will you sell it ?
I never attempted anything 😂from your videos but my God your content is amazing and beautifully explained, good work ! Hopefully I'll try the belt 😂💋💋

For the closures there are always zippers, strips of bra-hook-and-eye closures, belt buckles and more.
I'm thinking of making a corset for a Halloween costume, and the zip tie idea is genius.
Just starting vid! As a Designer, so cool that you can purchase Bias cut fabric (crooked - ✂)!;)PEACE
You should start using French curves
Really inspiring and up to the promise 👍🏼 subscribed 👏🏼
love those shades! 😎😎😎😎
I was wondering where you got the thick fabric in DTLA, like what cross streets (:
