Drivers' Eye View of our Garden Railway Open Day (June 2024)

On the 29th of July, 2024, we opened the HSBA Garden Railway up to locals for the first Open Day of the year. During the day, over 500 visitors came to watch the trains and enjoy the garden. With their help, we raised over £2,350 for Finni's Ark Animal Sanctuary.

The HSBA Garden Railway is a G Scale garden layout based in Jersey, Channel Islands. Over 138m (455ft) of track navigate through tunnels, over bridges and past the pond in a garden in the parish of St. Mary.
Started in 2021, the railway is result of a husband and wife team that wanted to do something a little different in their garden. A mix of a childhood dream and passion for gardening - it was a perfect match.

Thanks, Simon! Yeah, the plants have really exploded this year. Probably a combo of mild weather with lots of rain. I was less impressed with it but the greenery is enjoying it.
