most suprising part about the night guy is that guy felt double the damage on himself than what he put on madara, so that kick that blew off half his body guy had to endure twice that damage
Minato is isn't exactly fast he has teleportation which is instantaneous and the part where he takes the orbs was super slowed down cause he went instantly in and out and regarding Lew throwing the kunai he just has to lihe it up ahead of gai and it's not like he was in base form or anything he was in the sixth gate form which is pretty strong. Plus throwing something is different than travelling by raw speed. Like imagine you throwing a ball and usain bolt racing your throw. Obviously your ball will win because it's smaller so it can travel faster. There was no plot armour whatsoever it was simply basic physics. A bigger object needs more energy to be thrown because of weight but a small thing like kunai can be much faster.
