I have been playing the flute for nearly a decade, but I'm not a musician and sometimes it gets hard to stick with the instrument. But this piece has reminded how beautiful the flute can sound. And why I chose this fantastic instrument. And that's pretty awesome. Thanks for that!

I'm the accompanist and the piano is realy hard near the end, the jumps are sometimes hard

I am about to finish school and have to give my flute back to the place where I borrowed it. This is hands down one of my favourite flute pieces ever. I love how the piano and the flute have parts of equal difficulty and it explores the entire range of the flute, which is rare and really nice! I aspire to compose something as beautiful as this one day. Simply incredible.

My sister plays the flute. She says she isn't good sometimes but I think that her playing is beautiful! She's a great sister and after all her practicing she'll be better and improve I'm sure. She showed me this song one time and I absolutely loved it! It's beautiful! Peices like these show me that classical music is criminally underrated and that it's a gorgeus genre. I don't really know what I'm saying anymore but yeah, this is great! :D

After 7 years of playing the flute and being involved in several orchestras and performances, I felt uninspired and only played my favorite pieces every once in a while over the next 4 years while attending college. I then stumbled upon this piece a couple days ago, and have now re-set up my practice space to play this piece (and learn more new ones!) non-stop. I have rediscovered that amazing feeling you get from playing a song you really put your feelings into, and I'm beginning to feel unbridled joy and passion again. Thank you so much Mr. Beeftink, you've earned a new admirer!

I've been playing flute since middle school and am now in my first year at university. Since I was unable to take a music class online this semester and have never been able to afford lessons or books, I've been looking for pieces online to play for fun. Songs and videos like this help keep the love for the instrument alive and encourage me to practice even when it feels like there's no reason to. Thank you.

I just want to say thank you so much for creating this work of art Mr.Beeftink. I just played it today for a Solo and Ensemble festival after finding in 7th grade and absolutely falling in love with it. I however did not have the skill to play it at the time. I kept looking at it for years listening to it again and again it never got old. I picked it up again this year due to me gaining the skill to being able to play it. I worked so so hard on it and I finally played it today and got a distinguished. This piece will always hold a special place in my heart because of how timeless and gorgeously crafted it is. Thank you and please keep on creating masterpieces!!

I haven't played flute since almost 50 years ago. I have a silver flute sitting around collecting dust.... probably waiting for a song to come along and inspire me. If there's any piece out there to bring me out of my decades-long hibernation, this is it! Just one little dilemma... I need to find a pianist to accompany me; either that or play the piano part myself, record it, rewind, play it back, and join myself on flute.

I stumbled upon this piece a few months ago. It made me fall in love again with my flute that I haven’t touched in 5 years. I’ve actually played it together with my friend at my graduation ceremony this year, that’s how much I loved it (it’s funny actually, because coincidentally it was the last day of spring). After that people came up to us and said that this song made them tear up and have goosebumps.

So I have been playing flute for what is coming up on my eighth year of being a flautist, and first year of being a piccoloist, mostly self-taught until a couple of years ago when I started mixing self-teaching and being taught by a professional, and so most of what I have learnt, especially rhythms, dynamic contour and even vibrato to an extent have all been self-taught. When I decided to mix self-teaching and being professionally taught, everything I learnt was bumped up to the next level, it almost seemed unreal at how well I can actually adapt and learn. I think I started looking at your music a few months ago and arguably this is my favourite. It has allowed me to learn more, and so have your others, and I don't think I can express my gratitude towards what you do.
