In the end, Shemp just went ‘Christine, just go all out and hit me, because one big hit hurts less than twenty little ones’, so when they did the take, as you can see, Christine really whacks him. However, she does go a bit too far because when she punches Shemp through the door, she really did punch him and actually broke his nose. But Shemp didn’t mind, because he just went ‘I told her to go all out’.

You dont have to completely block out the video pane, these films are so old they are public domain - all I see most of the time is a completely whited out video frame
