Agree bro. I have the phone for a month and it's the perfect phone for a heavy user like me. ❤ I don't why there are still a lot of people blinded by other brands.
I use the honor 70 and have had it for two years now ...solid phone ...still can't get over how quickly it charges.. battery is still amazing ...have had consistent software updates ... It's aesthetically way better than Samsung... I have the Samsung 23+ as well and 95% of the time I prefer using the honor 70... I only use Samsung for low light photos and portraits ... It's definitely better ... Was also using it for Samsung pay but discovered Google wallet... I was considering getting s24 ultra ...but I might just go for honor 200 ... Just to have one one ...and give away my Samsung S23+
I saw the price, €800, for a "mid-range" with catastrophic software monitoring, and after that, we will find that Apple and Samsung are expensive 🤦🏽♂️ €800 is not the price of a mid-range, and at this price, the Oneplus 12, S23 Plus and even last year's Honor Magic 5 Pro are better buys. Ps: I even think that the Magic 6 Pro is very often currently priced at €800
What’s the OS support length? All of that means nada if it’s like 2 years. Especially the security updates. Just looked it up, it’s 2 years for a phone that’s $900… no thanks.
On androids 2 years are like 2+ 2 or more Because third-party app devs take a whole year sometimes to update their apps for the latest android version. So your phone works fine with the 1 year old android version, it actually better than using the newer one.. Also the fact that most android users use cheap phones with outdated older versions of android.. makes 3rd party app developers to have not much of a reason to update their apps for the latest android version. So that's why at the begging of my comment I said "2+ 2 or more" most of the optimisation goes to the older os versions.. so it's no problem. Now security updates are something different and be sure to search about them specifically, because they may be more than the os updates don't be fooled. Anyway u still get more updates with other devices so i get it it still doesn't justify the price , but how long are u willing to keep a phone ? If not more than 4 years , its no problem.
@@wheelyflac most phone owners are keeping their phones for about 3-4 years because of the increase in price for phones. So the 2 years of OS support and 2 years of security patches for this phone is abysmal. I’m a security engineer and I’d tell you that as soon as phone loses its security updates, you’re not going to wanna use that phone as a daily driver especially if you have banking apps and other important documents on it. And third party apps have nothing to do with Android version; Android versions are essentially the same each year with a few features added. 99% of apps could work just fine with any recent Android OS. Honestly, anything under 3 years of OS support is just archaic. These companies throw all of these cheap hardware features to wow consumers and get them to buy the phone at $900 and they don’t have to support the phones after two years, forcing them to buy another phone. They make millions from that practice. iPhone may not be the most technologically advanced phone but if someone wants their money’s worth, the iPhone is the best value out of the two. It’ll last 6-7 years with security updates.
@justrvnn pixel 8a battery Is trash tho because of Samsung cpu and modem and I'm not sure but if it does have a smaller than 5000mah battery then it gets even worse.. also tensor is forgotten by the 3rd party app developers , if you watch the chip tests by the channel VERSUS u can see how unoptimised some third party video editing apps are on pixel phones compared to others, that's probably because there's not many people that use pixels so developers wont optimise their apps for such a small amount of users. Also I thought honor 200 pro is flagship killer.. but 900€ isn't flagship killer price to begin with.. are u sure it costs so much in your region?
