While i personally might not prefer the style you use i will give props that you are an amazing artist. I see the work you put in to develop it and the understanding with each brushstroke and it is mesmerizing. Also to expand i dont mean the style itself i just mean i tend to like more colorful and punchy artworks but that aside these are so dang good. ( edit: looking more at it i feel like you might be a darksouls fan at least what i feel from it but might be wrong)

These are INSANELY good. I love the intense atmosphere I can feel directly when looking at the artwork. For example the slightly backlit man in the woods at 3:40 teleports me instantly into this world. Small recommendation: It would be great if you showed each final sketch/artwork still for a few seconds before going to the next one.

Watching you create is mesmerising, and you've chosen an excellent soundtrack, thanks for sharing!
I find your work to have a sense of captured stillness, as if teh figures have been caught in a moment of thought, in between activities - is this intentional or incidental? It certainly adds a sense of 'quiet uncertainty' - you know there is a story, but not which way it goes next - love it!
Have you worked on any specific pieces with more a dynamic/action/comicbook style, with the figures in motion or combat?

Really nice observation! :) I think it's not intentional, rather accidental. And yes, I have worked with more dynamic poses before when there's need of it. You can say that these still artworks are my comfort zone.

For me, doing painting studies really changed the game. Moreover, each artist has their own way of breaking down complex shapes and objects into simpler speedpainting strokes. Watching them work also helped a lot!

Thanks a lot! 🙏🏻 it basically starts with drawing from a lot of references. Slowly you build your visual vocabulary and then with practice your mind creates ways to imitate different visuals in your own artistic expression.
