- RC Ships | PIRATENMEER in Büsum!

After a long break, we were back in the Wavepool in Buesum! With a bunch of rc Modelships! And again it was a great event!
Different fantastic ships took place in the Event.
Whenever possible the PIRATENMEER Büsum allows us to use their Pools to have some great Indoor-Tropical-Sailing Experiences... :-)

Nach eine großen Pause waren wir endlich wieder im Wellenbad in Büsum! Zusammen mit vielen anderen begeisterten Modellbauern und ihren Modellen wurde es erneut zu einem absolut tollen Event!
Es nahmen einige sehr interessante verschiedene Modelleteil.
Wenn möglich, ermöglicht uns das Piratenmeer Büsum die Benutzung Ihrer Pools um ein tolles Winterfahrvergnügen in Tropischen Bedingungen zu haben.... :-) Danke dafür!

I use to work offshore and I was always fascinated with Tug boats........ Tug boats has so much power, they can pull anything and everything........... Whenever you are in trouble or stuck those tug boats will save you.
Einfach toll, die Aufnahmen knapp über der Wasserlinien. Viele super gebauten Schiffe, wobei für mich die heimlichen Stars die beiden Fähren sind ...
Hihi,.. hi Thomi,.. nicht nur für Dich :-).... wie Du ja an der Länge der Aufnahmen siehst.. :-) Sowohl Bilge, als auch ich haben die ausführlich bewundert... vom Hund auf Deck, über das alte Liebespaar, die Speisekarten, die Sonnenschutzfolien in den Brückenfenstern,... bis hin zu den nur seitlich angebrachten Opferanoden am Unterwasserschiff... (ist schließlich ein Schlickrutscher),.. einfach toll!

Is it hard to control that ship? Or its more like RC car?
Hi Aznyx,.... no, Not like an rc car. It's actually more like controlling the original ship. It's movement in the water is quite like the big one and the steering technic (bow steam rudder, two differential propeller as main drive,.....) is exactly like the original ship. Actually also the captain is the same one 😅👍. He works on the big ship, when not piloting his model.... it seems he can't get enough of his ferry. 😇😉👍

Hi Charlie, did you notice the small and quite old rescue vessel? in Orange Green and white? When being a kid, I was allowed to travel with it,..just for the fun of it! It did impress me a lot!

...actually I would guess that most of these models might handle rough Sea surprisingly well,..as Bilge said. After all the original ones were build for the North Sea, which on some days is quite a Bitch of a sea 😇

It definitely would! But I can promise you, that most owners would like the idear, to set their vessels free in this wave pool simulator ;-).

Liebe Bilge, lieber Holger und lieber Marco, bei den Autofähren der W.D.R. fehlt eigentlich nur noch, dass man die Kapitäne mitsamt Besatzung zum Ganzkörperscan bittet, um sie mittels 3D-Drucker ausdrucken und als Figuren in den Dienst dieser überaus beeindruckenden Modelle stellen zu können. Aber natürlich sind alle anderen Modelle auch eine Köstlichkeit für die Augen.

Hi Andreas,... ja, die Autofähren sind absolut toll detailliert gebaut,... da aber ein Teil der Besatzung diese Fähren baut,... sollte das mit dem Ganzkörperscan durchaus machbar sein :-)). Sogar die Speisekarten auf den Tischen sind, ordentlich gefaltet natürlich mit dem Tagesangebot mit dabei.... einfach toll!
Aber auch die Bauart der Fähren gefällt mir sehr... ganz flach gehalten,.. die müssen sich ja schließlich durchs Wattenmeer schlängeln und dabei auch mal so manche seichte Stelle passieren... die Opferanoden an den Seiten gehalten, damit sie sich diese nicht abscheren...
Wie Du sagst,.. es sind wirklich köstlichkeiten für die Augen!

Hurra, wieder volles Bild! Die 4 "Thumbs down" vom letzten Mal nehme ich persönlich - hatten vielleicht doch andere Gründe? Jedem Tierchen sein Plaisierchen, hier kann jeder seine Meinung vertreten.....
Meine kennst du und ich finde es wieder wunderbar! Besonders die Direktaufnahmen von der Fähre u. dem Handelsschiff sind beeindruckend. Und es geht auch ohne Wellen - sonst hätte der Raddampfer keine Chance.... Die kleinen "Rennboote" machen genug Kielwasser zum Schaukeln....
