A very stange Year - the year 2020- has gone. Due to Covid-19, nearly all of our beloved events had been canceled. But due to your great support, we had some "Covid-19"-proofed Mini-Events. Some of you even sent us footage to upload and of course we had a big storage with lots of footage to nice to throw away,... wich now was the time to show!
This here is a 20 Minute-Best-Of from all the videos we did upload this year!

Das war ein wirklich seltsames Jahr, das 2020. Durch Corona fielen fast alle unsere schönen Modellbau-Veranstaltungen aus. Aber dank Eurer tollen Unterstützung hatten wir doch ein paar sehr schöne coronasichere Mini-Events. Auch haben einige von Euch uns Ihr Material zum Schneiden und Uploaden als Gastvideos geschickt... und natürlich war das jetzt auch die perfekte Zeit um in unserem riesigen Archiv all die Viel-zu-schade-zum-Wegwerfen-Aufnahmen rauszukramen und in den Schnitt zurück zu holen! Wie gesagt,.. ein seltsames Jahr, dieses 2020...
Hier ist es nun das 20 Minuten-Best-Off aus all den Uploads dieses Jahres.. genießt es!

Really like the open water footage - the pool stuff is interesting to see the underwater bits but the open water stuff just looks more realistic and like seeing them cope with rough conditions...

I'm glad to see the long video until the end because there are many nice boats.
I've just watched this video again, and I still love it! ☺ I'm really looking forward to the 2021 RC boat season, with more new video's from Subwaterfilm!
Love the boat really enjoyed seeing the boats at speed and on real lakes in some bigger waves. Oh and were can I get a bigger RC boat
Very enjoyable. Great cast of ships. All are great but I have a liking for those ugly old Bugsier harbor tugs (particularly @21:57 ) plowing that huge wake and going thru big waves @ 3:08 and @6:46. I believe it is owned by the fellow with the wet suit @19:56 who is trying to catch up with it!!! (in reverse!!) I'm a fool... I looked back at your Sept 17 2013 video and saw it was YOU. Sorry.. Well anyway, have a good New Year and we all hope this COVID thing goes away.

Hi Martin,... I had some shouts of the Multijet Boat in some earlier clips... but as I'm away from home I can't look out up right now... but I'll keep an eye open for it.. 😌👍

When the boats are out on the lake or bay is there a rescue boat available to retrieve boats in distress?
We absolutely love your films. My son is very interested in this! Any recommendations to start? He has built many ships and tugs but not remote control.

do people build all these ship by hand or do they buy them somewhere?
Hi Thijs,.. most of these rc vessels are selfbuild by their owners.... some are build from scratch using plans... other are fabricated from building kits... only a few are bought ready to run... so,.. yes, they do build most of these by hand!

@@Subwaterfilm when you mention from plans are these model plans to scale or from shipwright plans and lofted down to scale. They are so impressive. Your filming is just superb

Sind die Rümpfe aus ABS, GFK oder Holz?
Hi Ermis,.. ja,..ja.. und ja. 😇 Die Rümpfe bestehen tatsächlich aus verschiedenen Materialien... ABS sind meist die Baukasten-Modelle von Krick, Graupner (†), robbe (romarin),... oder die industriell gefertigten Tiefzieh-Rümpfe, z.B. von Jörg aus Flensburg (da kommt demnächst ein Blick hinter die Kulissen der Herstellung),.. GFK Rümpfe sind oft Baukästen aus England oder Selbstbauten,... und Holz ist meist Selbstbau nach Plan oder Phantasie....
...alles dabei Vertreten 😊👍

Hi Pedro,.. most of those Ships are self build,.. the only way to get one would be building one... but,.. you might be lucky to find some on the online auction Websites....

Hi Ermis,.. tut mir leid... mir ist schon länger auf den Veranstaltungen keine Grimmershörn mehr begegnet.. es schade ist, hat sie doch eine sehr schön ausgeprägte und seltene Rumpfform 👍👍
Aber ihr tut ja schon was dagegen.. find ich gut 👍
Wenn ich mal wieder eine for die Linse bekomme, fange ich sie ein,. versprochen 👌😊

@@Subwaterfilm Hi Holger, danke für deine ausführliche Antwort. Ich kann dir gerne Aufnahmen von unserer Grimmershörn zukommen lassen, wenn wir sie fertig gebaut haben. Das könnte allerdings noch einige Monate dauern, da sich der Aufbau etwas in die Länge zieht. (ist unser erster Bootsbausatz😂).
