Her healing pylon is beyond broken. Just place it somewhere and go kill the whole team, yet somehow do over 8k heals

@@Waseemmmm yeah of course nobody is going to notice a huge sun going to the enemy back line. The Ult would be used for real reposition if you could kill while using it, so you'll have the posibility to do an agressive push but right now the best you can do is waste it to run or heal the team
@@andreysoares6203 the problem with doing that is her heal beam. its got a short range so she needs to be in close but she cant reliably do that without her movement ability. she would either have difficulty getting in close or would get killed often for being too close to the fight without having a method to get out. I agree she's super strong tho. a nerf probably is warranted although I think for now her ult is the biggest issue

she's def op, but i like this shift of supports from what felt like healbots to me in ow1 to dps-lite characters who have to rely on good aim to get kills and have defensive cooldowns

ml7 is the only Overwatch player I watch now. I love how positive, excited and invested he is. So much pessimism, toxicity, cancel culture everywhere else... All I ever did was playing Overwatch and I never stopped enjoying the game. I joined Overwatch during the content drought and I didn't know it was a drought, I loved the game. And all I see now is content release after content release, new free heroes and game modes.
I love seeing other players who are enjoying the game while they do or leave to enjoy other projects when they burn out with OW.
If you enjoy OW2 - keep playing. If you don't - leave and explore other amazing projects. If you think there are games that are better, in your opinion, than OW2 - play them, celebrate them! And tell us about them! And we'll join the fun if it's there and see the difference for ourselves!

True, but is also important to acknowledge the big problems this game has, now is a disappointment for me, and yeah I played this game for 7 years and I just hoped for something different but the corpa is really greedy, let’s hope the game gets better and more fair to the community but unfortunately I can’t enjoy the game that much these days, I will just hop on to check the new stuff

Gotta make sure every support can survive positional mistakes by giving them mobility and or an easy knockback on any engage tank lol

@@revolution_ow379 to be fair they do need it. they are the number 1 target in every fight. if they didn't have those abilities the supports would literally just be playing respawn simulator the whole match.

She is the most fun i've had playing a hero in a very VERY long time.... They were smart for releasing her with this very big season also is a good way to get people who predominately like dps to maybe switch to Illari and become support players which was an aim of theirs for a while. There will always be nerfs but im glad they learnt from not repeating an underwhelming release like Lifeweaver.
I know right. She's a fun hero, but it's the most egregious example of power creep Blizzard has ever done. They keep adding too many things to a single character's kit, it's like emongg's randomizer modes. They gave Illari Sojourn's rail gun, disruptor shot, then combined her slide jump with Lucio's boop. And then she also gets a Sym turret that heals better than Zen's harmony orb- ANNNND on top of that her ultimate gives her Mercy's Valkyrie flight. WTF blizzard? Sure all that stuff is incredibly fun to play with, but what other character on ANY role, even comes CLOSE enough to compare in power??
I would do awful things to gain ML7's aiming ability.
Or you could just play more and train...no awful things needed.

@Shupra94 once u actually play her, u might realize how easy it is to hit shots with her, I think the size of her shots actually helps too, and the patience required makes it easier to hit head shots too

@@munchlax6577 how is it fine when his damage is the lowest among all supports except mercy, whose secondary fire is dmg boost, and she CAN do more damage than him if she decides to use her pistol more--plus the time to change from volley to blossom is incredibly slow. I think the rest of the kit's fine, they just gotta rework his weapon, it's so bad to the point that you basically can't win ANY 1v1s
I genuinely want someone to explain to me why Illari is amazing but so many other supports were hated on release.
Brig was hated for dealing big damage, although she has high risk as she had to be on your face to kill you, and she didnt have good enough heals to sustain her and disengage. She was nerfed until she was barely playable.
Moira was hated too for her big damage, just as brigite, and had her fade and self heals. Also giga nerfed.
Mercy, not on release, but throughout the last years, has been hated for her mobility (which is dependent on her teammates) and the damage the dps she boosts does, while having no way to defend herself, having to be near the dps and, most recently, way less mobility.
Illari has big damage from a safe distance, mobility to disengage and pretty much passive heals, she just has to place a turret and it heals while she is on and about doing her thing. Her ult is also a dps ult.
Illari can 1v1 any dps and survive just by spawning her turret if she doesn't 2 click you in the first 3 seconds. For real, ive seen her survive 3v1 and being able to live with more than half her life, taking down at least one dps.
Please, explain to me why she's ok, but the other supports arent.
I am a support main and she is amazong to climb and get kills, but i also recognize its hypocritical of me to praise her, knowing what a contradiction she is to the support role.
Maybe people are just taking advantage of the fact that shes an easy support for the majority of the player base, who are dps, but that doesnt make her "balanced" or a good "support".

Brig was hated because of the cc. Having a mini tank stun and combo you every 10 seconds was aggravating.
Moira hard locked onto targets with a fade and orb making killing a squishy ridiculously easy and quick. Their skill floor was on the ground.
Kiriko and Illari doing so much is accepted with the fact that their skill floor is a little higher with some semblance of aiming and intention. Though her ult is utter bs.
I don’t know how to feel about Mercy’s nerf. It took good skill to do her tech in ow1, but with the rework in ow2 to make super jumps and slingshots accessible to everyone I do think the nerf was fair. However, if mobility was the concern then Lucio should have also suffered a minor nerf.
@aprilblues3202 I know Brig's combo was hell, but they kept on nerfing her after they took it away.
While kiriko and illari rely more on mechanical skill, brig and moira require you to have better game sense as they have to take risks to get their kills. Brig's shield is like a sheet of paper

She isn’t that OP, simple as that. No where near launch brig by the way. Lifeweaver’s launch was super underwhelming as he was terrible, but illari is fun and very strong. She will also get nerfs that she needs
@@akaikeshi1906 absolutely. Brig and moira are low risk high reward. Game sense is secondary to the majority of players despite its importance. More difficult mechanics makes it feel more earned when they get a kill, rather than just holding down primary fire in the general direction. nerfs don’t really matter since I was talking about the response to new heroes pre-nerf. Illari is good, but she isn’t mindlessly strong.
i really hope they don't nerf her into the ground. people are hating too much imo. if she were a dps people would be so excited about her, but god forbid a support have any meaningful impact on the game
Support is literally the most powerful role. Kiri, Ana and Bap were insanely strong with nuts carry potential. Now Illari is out and she's OP as well. Anyone who thinks support is weak is either a delusional support main or stupid.

She applies so much pressure , along with crazy healing . Every game its an ez 8-10k without trying (aware its not an insane amount) . But the 2 tap is such a threat . Curious to see what they will do with her in the future
I actually think she is pretty balanced. At this point in time players simply don’t know how to play against her, similar to Ramattra’s release. Her healing turret do have a lot hps and so does her beam, but the beam has limited range and the heal turret can be easily destroyed. So if she does get nerfed it will be a minuscule one. Headshot damage needs to go down to 90 though.

As a sombra main seeing these plays that can be easily cancelled makes me happy
She is fun to use, but really difficult... You have to have a good aim to do something, her rate of fire is slow, her ult can be countered and her healing pilon, which is her primary source of heal is easily destroyed, you have to be extra aware of the map...

@@MidastyShe's very OP. Her ult is too strong for how fast it charges and her turret is way overtuned. Add on top of that a good movement ability and an extremely good weapon, she's bery broken.
Bruh she’s literally a dps with healing abilities, not bad mobility, and useful ult. Just tell me which characte’s ult can’t be countered? And saying you need good aim to use her is hilarious since most of the dps require good aiming skills.
@@brucefly7347 you can't shoot quickly with her, by the time you hit one, the enemy can damage you more, her play style is similar to Kiriko, but her rate of fire is slower then her, if you press her she cant do much, DVa can kill her easy, for example

Yup lol the most viable way to play him is to healbot. Maybe fire your thorns 1-2 times in a round for 134 damage total. I can't believe people enjoy playing like that

she’s def overtuned for high level play. but as a support player i will take overtuned over underwhelming a la lifeweaver’s launch.
she’s absolutely built as though she’d be vulnerable to dive, but her turret’s pulse rate negates any engage on her when it’s active. wonder what the team will decide to adjust in the next patch to balance it out.
She really isnt that strong her raw heals and dps potential is neat but she has no other value no buffing no nerfing no zoning nothing thats not really opressive

On the other hand minuses are:
you can heal only on close range , if they destroy that dron it is much more harder.
Heal recharges in few Sec and while healing u still need to track body.
Ult is not so OP bc u still need to have good aim to kill someone. You can counter her with so many legends.
HEr long range weapon: Kill someone with 2-3 shots
Well balanced character and the best part is that you really need to have skill and brain.
My first 10games nobody shooted her pylon even u can destroy it in 2-3shots :D

They just had to nerf discord because of how much zen was wrecking and providing great utility to his team lol. You don't need heals when the team is dead 🤷🏾♂️

I really hope Illari continues the trend of Blizzard shifting Supports to heroes that can hold their own against the rest of the roster. She has a strong primary fire and ult but the rest of her kit is still very much Support. Being a sitting duck against enemy Tracers shouldn't be the default just for the sake of it.
I agree. It's tiresome when your playing support and when your teammates make careless decisions or don't teamfire and so on and your stranded and alone, and can't retreat or have a chance to take maybe one player down if your lucky. I agree making supports have more than one use is a good thing going forward. I like the concept of characters being versatile to a extent on their abilities.
The healing turret is going to be nerfed for sure .. As long as you position that turret correctly is like you can focus on dpsing .. Guess dmg is going down as well ..
hear me out, make her ult target allies, and when an enemy blows it up it heals them… should adjust this damage we’re seeing quite a bit
Thank you Mr. Streamer for all the videos and streams. I played OW1 just a little and started playing much more with realease of OW2. I genuinely enjoy the game and I'm glad there is a content creator who enjoys it too and stays positive. Of course OW2 is not a perfect game and I understand that Blizz made some unpopular and rather greedy decisions about the game. But the pure amount of hate and toxicity surrounding the game is something, I still can't wrap my head around. So wish you all the best.
P.S. tried to play Illari - can't hit anyone with primary omegalul
illari is genuinely the most fun i’ve had in ow in awhile
She is too opressive.
Her Primary Fire hitbox is the same as Sojourn's Railgun at 100% charge. Basically walking perma mini Soj's ult without piercing. Falloff starts at 30 meters, up to 50, dealing 75-22.5 dmg, x1.5 crit multiplier. With that huge of a hitbox it's an easy two-tap kills with most of the roster.
Pylon heals 50 hp/s, 40 hp every 0.8 sec, it has 150 (75+75) hp and is permanent. It's 3 Ana's darts, 4 Zen's orbs, 3 Cass'es shots. You got my point, you can't really kill her in a duel if you can't one-shot.
Mobility skill that also works as disengager.
Alternative fire is 120 hp/s heal, can heal up to 360 hp in 3 seconds. Recharge is also 3 seconds if not fully depleted. With a pylon it's 170 hp/s.
Quite cheap ultimate that grants fly, fires barrier piercing Rasen Shuriken that deals 50 dmg in a huge 7m radius, applying slow for 40% for around 6 seconds, and if you take 90 dmg you explode in AoE for 120 dmg. Thank God it can be cleansed, reflected or eaten by matrix and so alike.
Personally, I wouldn't be so mad about her if not for a Primary Fire hitbox. I would rather nerf it or take away headshots completaly. It's just too easy to kill with her, while also being hard to kill, you can clearly see this in the video. Maybe some ultimate tweaks, idk. For now she is too powerful.

I like how in OW2 supps are simply dps with self sustain and actual dps forced to play hypermobile chars to get some health pack when your healer too busy to heal you cos doing dmg. And also they have sustain in addition as passive. First, we have Kiri with everything: both type of mobility, insane dmg, good heal, immortality, cleance and pretty skinny model and now we get THIS. So what the point to try play dps and depend on your healers, when you can go play support and be actually better in dps and depend on yourself only.
After they make OW2 game become unfun and they keep moving in the wrong direction.

they really took a DPS character, have her a healing pod then slapped a Support sticker on her.
The devs have specifically said that they would release her OP because the lifeweaver was underwhelming. This is actually a problem when Illari is behind a paywall.
Its good the supports are getting some more active heroes you can actually fight with, only healing people gets boring so this character is cool but deffo needs some tweaks.

She's way too OP man. They do this everytime though, make the new hero OP, get everyone to buy her. Then nerf her to the ends of time.
She does feel a bit op while playing as her and against her. But nevertheless, Blizzard did a really good job, this hero is so much fun to play and she brings ungodly amounts of burst healing as her gimmick. And she can take care of pharahmercy if she needs to. Her kit is loaded
When they nerf her, they're definitely going for that pylon. It heals too fast. They'll probably hit it's fire rate or range or make it so that when you dies it gets destroyed because if y'all didn't know, if your pylon is in a good spot and you die it will still stay up and heal your team.
She really is fun to play. She will definitely become one of my mains when she is released for comp

If they want to balance her make her shot do 70 DMG and still keep the headshot DMG the same. Nerf the pylon to output the healing every 1sec this would be a minor nerf but wouldn't completely ruin the pylon. Lastly nerf the ult a little by either lowering the DMG from the initial aoe explosion or the detonation afterwards. Either way it's a well put together character just needs a bit of balancing.

Illari: dps while your pylon does your job for you
Her bullets have a hitscan functionality with a projectile sized bullet. It'd be like making Hanzo or Mei a hitscan, or making Widow's bullets fatter than the continent of Africa. She needs to be nerfed, yesterday.

Bad times for support mains.. i feel upset that first we got a useless heal bot and now we have a hitscan dps with healing abilities

illiari is the future of support in overwatch, this isn't a moba, is a shooter and everyone should be contributing to the dmg, a dps shouldn't win easy against a support it should always be up to skill.
any support from now on should be either be dps oriented like illari, zen or very defensive like like bap or brig.
i hear many dps players cry baby about a support finally having a potg worthy ultimate, when they are used to get potg with junkrat and repear with literally no skill needed, is time for supports to have fun aswell so the queue time will be balanced and everyone will be able to play what they truly want to play.
dps role doesn't mean they are th eonly ones doing dmg it means that they are focused on that while support and tank have other responsabilities too, i do stop for secondary fire on my illari when needed quite often but in the neutral game you can be sure i am popping heads
imo they should rework all support to become more similar to illiari.

Honestly though for bronze support players she going deffinality help people out that are hard stuck with that ultimate that can actually be used offensively

ive ben playing her, had a couple matches of flashpoint where I was the only support, not only did I kept everyone alive and well, I also had more heals than the 3 OTHER supports combined, and get this, I wasnt healing, i was mostly all from the turret, I also had the second most elims, 2 short from the tank, and prety good damage, almost as dps, I was super aggressive, only healing if they crossed infron of me basically, but moving your turret from place to place to keep up with the fight, and for enemies no to target it easily was so impactful, felt almost like sombra, getting more value of moving the trret/trans around in the batle that somewhere far and safe, and if someone is to low, just beam and the are not anymore. pretty fun hero if you can land shots, I do need practice with her ult tho.
Illari is basically the girl version of Baptise but a little bit better.
I love how OW2 released a defensive healer (Lifeweaver) then released a offensive healer (Illari). I like the balance both LW & Illari brings into the meta.
