    As a 1944 GPW fully restored (trailer queen) owner, I loved watching these guys use their jeeps for the purpose in which they were intended for.

      Since you do restoration I was wondering if you may have any leads or suggestions where I might find a canvas half cab for my 47 cj2a? Thank you in advance for your time.

    I am surprised this video is getting so many hits. Thanks! The 3B “X98”, and the MB with summer top “BAM BAM”, are both running 750-16 NDTs @8-9 psi and had little difficulty on the trail. There are more modern tires that may give you an advantage but the NDTs are not as bad as some would think. Check out some of my other videos. Lots of NDT tire footage on recognized trails. Thanks for watching :)

    Off-roading was also a fun time, that is until it became a tireless job of digging one's 4x4 out of the mud, or having to pull numerous 4x4's behind you up a grade or trench, etc. These days, just a smooth sandy country road or trail will keep me happy!

    Dear Mr. Jpetrowich, Thank you very much for this *Event, looks like as in real - war conditions
    However, I have good memories this MB-Jeeps, 1947- as I was 6-years old = our manor property
    Black-Forest Mountains, were occupied By French Army; as they came permanent hunting our deers
    and roes our property; in high mountains - but as lazy - not walking - only so far - as jeeps are able to drive, like in your
    video , but not higher. the animals are so smart - knewing in higher areas - no shooting, also
    our people learned, so we had had our *Swines - not registered in the Hight's, so be able
    *black butchered and shooting - our Deers- alone. As the French's would go home with empty hands, so have
    as primitives - stolen our poultries. But our tenants and our's - had had to smile
    Later as young man bought a MB and 1972 = a M38A1- with so much fun.
    With sentiments I'm looking this *Enthusiasts. Wishing you All, health and luck
    Regards from Germany,

    I do not get why some factory/company does not build (let's say) 5000 pcs of '45 Willys (as it was done then) and just sell them as retro/new cars? Then, you have new motor with 0 miles on it, all ready to hit the dirt. Beacause these new Jeep models are far from that what Willys was-bare metal and power. It had to meet Army specs, no AC, radio, heated seats, no sun roof...

    • @cammedls3532
      @cammedls3532 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Have you seen mahindra's new roxor? Its very similar to the old Willys but with more modern features like a 4cylinder diesel,
      5 speed and disc brakes. The only problem is you can't drive it on the road (certain states do allow as long as you have the proper equipment added to it). like the look of the old willys better though.

    • @new.handle
      @new.handle 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cammedls3532 i know, I saw it, and it looks nice. But it is not Willys... On the other hand, it is cheaper than getting original Willys and then restoring it. ;)

      i agree that tires can be one of the biggest upgrades for any vehicle. but this was titled "Willys Reunion Wheeling", so i assumed the old school resto is part of the fun, that is why the one guy has lots of unneeded heavy gear and a 50 cal mounted to the jeep. if they were just offroad rigs i would have different tires, roll cage, less army gear, and so on...

      Like Mrmrsregor said, we were trying to get the whole vintage experience. The guy with the machine gun was driving an original, stock WWII Jeep. What would it have been like to try and get a Jeep through the Belgian forests in 1944?. And honestly, I have trouble with my JK Rubicon on 37" Swampers through the same trail and when it's as slick as it was.

    Mahindra Roxor is available as low as $16000 , i bought 2019 one and lifted it with a 3inch lift kit. Love the look of it 😍, im trying to make it road legal , will be over soon . They make very good tractors.
    The engine's got 62hp and 144nm torque but i have seen a video on TH-cam that it can do about 200hp with 400nm torque with the same engine. They have to detune the engine to meet the regulations. Its amazing. I'm planning on doing it on mine too, after putting enough miles on it.
    I would recommend every one to buy them, it costs not more than a mortarcycle or an ATV and you can look cool 😎. It's bear bones you can modify it as you like.
    Fiat is sueing them only for the grill and some body parts . As the case proceeds eventually Mahindra is going to win it as of now.
    Mahindra offers more jeep than Fiat fake ones.
    They are the only company to open a new plant in Detroit for over 23 years and they are planning to expand their designing hub to Detroit. They are providing jobs for Americans.I fell for it
