  • The last day for the “Qwaaazy 8’s” on the Rubicon Trail. After some pizza in Lake Tahoe, we head back to the Loon Lake entrance to trailer up and head to Moab. Thanks for watching!! For more cool Willys footage, visit the TH-cam channels of Stan Fuller, Tecovas, Jeepevans, MudOxRacing

Lots of warm friendly Jeep sound!! Pretty impressive for stock 70 year old vehicles. The Army only expected them to last 3 months or something like that.

Just shows you don't need all the bells and whistles of today's vehicles! today you turn a knob push a button sit back and relax, yesterdays vehicles where push this peddle yank that shifter and the other shifter and the 3rd shifter sit back and relax for 10 feet then push pull allover again! These vintage JEEPs never break a sweat going through Rubicon, almost idle through the whole trip! My .02!

That's no joke. I just put my '46 in low range and it just crawls right along! You can just let it idle and it'll pull a house down!

a good example for those crazy people , that still think that you need a v8 big block under the hood to go four wheeling , you guys do a great job ( ONLY IN A JEEP )

Seeing this reminds me of a nice AM General MUTT I used to have. You don't see too many of those these days, and they had all the goodness of a Willys, but in a more squat, wider platform. It was basically an improvement of the Willys that came on deck right before AM General released the Humvee, and that was all she wrote for the MUTT. The only reason I got rid of mine was it got too expensive to keep running, just like most military-derived vehicles. The way both Willys and MUTTs sing when you gun it in low-range will always be magical in my book.

Got to love the blue CJ2A... and the stick shift CJ2A... Got one like that in my garage (and a 1950 CJ3A). Keep up the good work

Cool video. I really like the old Jeeps.
The one with the rough paint and lots of dents sounds like it’s going to throw rod.

Just watched part 3, what can l say except well done lads, just a thought, would a Series 1 80" Land-Rover [originally designed on a ww2 Jeep chassis) have made the journey?

Enjoyed watching all 3 days. Curious if there is a video of a walk around showing what modifications were made? It appears that for the most part they are running original axles and transmissions so I would assume original engines as well?

.. another one/idiot off-road test by vintage Jeeps: nearly totally "modern-customized": OFFENDING the "noble"/traditional heritage of that vehicle
