Smg4 is doing it, he is giving the side characters more love and screen time, i love mario, smg4, smg3, and meggy, but back in the day we had a solid few episodes having the whole cast and focusing on other characters GIVE US MORE MELONY, SAIKO AND TARI DAMN IT!
Im so glad the writing has improved in the recent episodes. Im hoping this means more character focus and development for Luigi, Tari, Saiko, Melony etc. Also I LOVED that they used Nessun Dorma when Luigi saw Mario's text massage. One of the greatest opera songs of all time that gives me goosebumps every time I listen. It perfectly added emotion to that scene, SMG4 gets a chef's kiss for that🤌

Mario is the avatar of the smg4 universe and has meme energy. So I think Mario is easily one of the most op and powerful people in the show,and no villain stand a chance against Mario not puzzles,Bowser,etc. Mario and Luigi are brothers,they're family,family always stick together. I like the Mario and Luigi bros duo
I liked this ep cuz everyone was literally here from the main characters, side characters, and even some forgotten characters I agree this my new fav of this year
Yeah, love this so much. I mean, a Luigi focused episode? After all the crap the series does to him, it’s so satisfying to see that again for a long time. They also showcase their developments of Mario and Luigi in this, and seeing their true relationship in this was absolutely beautiful. I loved seeing they two both care for each other deeply. I also found it satisfying that we got some Bowser screen time in this. I love him too much. And also seeing the many characters in this, and that hospital scene was so heartbreaking. Such a peak episode, showcasing Mario and Luigi’s relationships beautiful and sweet to watch. Now that has got to be one of the best episodes this year. ❤ 💚
I feel like this episode fixed my #1 issue with Both Mario and Luigi in the series. For Luigi it's the fact that he seemed really disconnected from Mario and it made you think that Luigi and Mario were not sibling. And for Mario it showed how much he cares for others as if this was a previous episode they would've had Mario mock Luigi and call him pathetic and useless, but in this episode he acted How Mario would act in this situation of standing up for Luigi and protecting him. With the normal amount of snide but nothing ergerous, to me this episode is a 8.5-9 out of 10.
I know I've called most 2024 SMG4 episodes "meh" through this year, but now it's time I tell you another truth about me. This has to be the best SMG4 episode of 2024! Aside from Mario & Luigi having a good brotherly bond, Mario is also proven to be a lot better than most other characters & that's saying a lot!

Hope you can forgive me for saying this but even though this episode was honestly really good, I'm holding off on really anything coming out of this until I see the proof with my own eyes. SMG4 still has the sword of Damocles hanging over its head that their writing still can't properly balance out "Story vs Comedy" and until this issue is resolved with the writing I'll always remain skeptic over something coming out of episodes like this. I still say the group should take a hiatus to come back with more clear and fresher ideas because you never know what's gonna come out of SMG4 at this point.
