    I didn’t played this game until later. But I certainly admired it’s artsy creatively as these kind of games are. I don’t have profound passionate thoughts having not played day 1. It was before I really started discovering what Indie Games even were. No special nostalgia beyond ooh clever puzzles. Intense death trap side scrolling. Loved Inside for the same reasons clearly a spiritual successor. The main draw was actually the puzzles. And the mystery nature.

      For sure, I think playing it now lessens the impact of the special indie side of it. I think like you said, the looks carries it, the mystery, the puzzles, I do think the idea of what happened with this boy and his sister is super cool, the spider section is awesome but man those puzzles can be frustrating lol

      ​@@podcastnowbacktothepastI think this was one of the first game or at least among them where I started falling in love with bleak storyelling alongside Dark Souls.

    I absolutely love this game and it being a gane that led to inside and definitely inspired the Little Nightmares series to some degree is awesome.
