I'm having a block for the same reasons, thank you for this video! Yes! When you tell youself you can't do something your brain actually turns things off so to speak to make it so that you actually can't. And I keep forgetting that the opposite is equally possible! Thank you so much! I'd forgotten this and I needed to be reminded of it.
I've been struggling to make the leap from art on paper to digital art. Your videos have been so helpful for me. After working and getting almost nowhere for the past year, I found your videos, and I also joined the skillshare classes you recommended. In a little over 2 weeks, I've made more progress than I made the previous 12 months. Digital art doesn't look like my paper art YET, but I'm excited by the growth I'm seeing. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you, I've always been comparing myself to other artist ESPECIALLY my friend who is WAYY better at art than me, but I don't hate her, she even tries to help me. She isn't like some other people that i've met who BRAG about their art/artstyle. I look for people like her and even you!

I want to become and author illustrator one day and have flexibility to not be just sat in one place. Do you think it's a good idea to learn procreate from the get go? I imagine it's less scanning/cleaning up and get similar looks to traditional if I wanted to? Love to hear you thoughts, thank you
