Great question…I need to life w/ the ultra a bit more but putting the ultra with the leather band really made it come together for me. I do still love my stainless steel gold watch but the display on the ultra is nice…so I’m undecided 😂

The problem it was designed for people using sports watch’s like the Fenix, so the size for most people who use those (male athletes) is fine. The problem for me is regardless of how they improved the battery life, my garmin fenix is not measured in hours but in months of battery life. The ultra is cool but the battery life is not enough, maybe in the next version they can put a solar cell under the screen to extend the life, life garmin has done.
I’ve had it for about 2 weeks and I’m returning it. Too bulky, too noticeable…don’t mind big watches but they feel is too hefty. Don’t like how the crown feels, swiping is not as smooth as the pebble design due to the flat display. Not disappointed just is what it is. Will miss battery life…Series 9 stainless is what I’m switching to.

It's super big and looks a bit like the old clichéd 'computer on your wrist' but it's all how it feels. I wear a Fenix 6, tired the X which was just too big for my average sized wrists. As always another sweet video. 👍🏻

Loved it at first because it’s so unique looking compared to the others, but after wearing it alot I’m realizing how the weight increase and height off the wrist doesn’t really seem worth it for cost. Totally just seems like something to own to say you own😅I find myself wanting to wear the 41mm series 8 I got way more … but then again I’m a woman so idk. I don’t mind spending money but I gotta have what’s on my wrist feeling natural lol
Battery is better, takes 1-3% when i sleep and charge it late evening/night and can use it when sleep and full day, all three days have been same around 70-75% day after. Not done much training with it but my 5/6/7 was down to 40-45% on same use. And to big? Hell No, large and heavy duty style is a fresh design. Push it to 55mm and i would be even more happy. :)
