Guys, all the songs of Maamannan are absolutely stellar. This is definitely the earthiest one of the 7 tracks sung by actor and comedian Valivedu, who aced this track so powerfully and emotively. Please check out Kodi Parakura Kaalam (a women's empowerment track) and Jiggu Jiggu Rail (sung by ARR himself about hope and unity). Manna Maamannan, the title track, is a huge thumper with brilliant vocals and accents by rapper Arivu Nenjame is also one of my favorites, a very beautiful, romantic piece. Veerane is a pure rocker sung by ARR's son, Ameen. The symphonic piece, Utchanthala, hasn't had its video released yet, but it's the most operatic and pathos filled track of the album. It's a masterpiece on its own. This is one of my favorite ARR albums of his latter career. It's a total musical wonder from start to finish. I am really happy you noticed the string arrangements and their impact on Raasa Kannu. ARR is one of the finest string arranging composers I have ever heard. Will definitely check out Peter Gabriel's song and score, thanks for the recommendation.

Their main ideology is to tell the stories of the people who have had no voice for several hundred of years due to caste oppression . Vetri maran, Pa Ranjith and Mari Selvaraj are some of them . We love their work . They are the contemporary tamil directors . One might love Malayalam or Bollywood industries but I always have a high level of respect for my people for the level of responsibility they have shown towards the society in every movie . Yes Cinema has a huge influence on people and we need to have responsible people in industry who also have good political knowledge and understanding of the society . Tamilnadu is the only state in India where we people donot keep our caste names as sur names . Our emotions and ideologies are very distinctive than others ..
Not having caste names with our names is not a Tamilnadu thing it's a Tamil thing. Native Tamils in Sri Lanka, Malaysia also don't have caste names as their surnames. We only use parents name initials.
