As a 15 year old living w parents watching this video made me realize
    A) The freedom of living alone is expensive
    B) Mumbai makes u feel so small
    C) It makes so much sense why we as GenZ cant afford houses
    D) You hardly get 10lpa as fresher jiska in hand around >1l per month hoga agar 15k goes for rent every month plus grocery, travel expenses, and visiting fam. Damn it sounds expensive than my math skills.

I really like the effort and thought behind the video, but couldn't help to say "Indian toilets do not mean being less progressive or vice versa." Physically, Indian toilets and the position one sits in has all the benefits and is actually thought out while the english toilet position is not only harmful and lazy but the only thought behind it was comfort. Ngl, really disappointed after hearing "7 out of 10 houses had Indian commodes. Can I ask why? Mumbai itni progressive hai and I couldn't process Indian commodes abhi bhi use hote hai" Idk about others, but I'd happily choose and prefer to have an Indian commode in my house.

@@dakshbulchandani travelling daily can be hectic from dombivali to parle or churchgate for a newbie. You will have to travel by local durning peak hours sometime and that can be challenging at start but once you get the hang of it then maybe it can get easier. My college was also in vile parle and i had classmates who were coming from vasai, virar and mira road. Many times they used to complain about the travel and sometimes miss class also due to this. Specially durning monsoon season. So i would suggest get a hostel or PG as near your college as possible.for atleast the first six months or one year. In mumbai there are many hostels and PG’s that are closer to college so try to find one that fits your budget. Once you get used to the lifestyle then maybe you can move to different place.

Bhai thoda research karke bolo yaar. Mumbai is good - I agree. Cost of housing in Delhi> Cost of housing in Mumbai? Um, no brother. You will be equally flabbergasted to know how difficult it is to travel from Pallava city/ Dombivali to Mumbai. Matlab the struggle is unmatched. Upar se har saal waterlogging - no matter how little or how much it rains. Aap hi socho ek jagah agar 25000 mein unko unmaintained 1 RK mil raha tha that too in a building probably older than her, toh ek dusri jagah itne kam rates hone ka kuch toh reason hoga na. I stay in North Mumbai's suburb which is far from South Bombay or the areas that have most workplaces aur yahan bhi on an average 22-25k dena padta hai for a small (400 sqft) 1 bhk in a decent livable society. The point of my rant is, logon ko jhuthi umeed mat do that this place is cheaper than Delhi when it's not.

    Hey Preet!
Great video, would be shifting in July for an year long internship in Mumbai. The video was really helpful, I thought that I would not be able to get a decent house in a similar budget. Can you let me know if the house is close to BKC and what are the transportation options near to the last society where you finalised the house.

The house is quite far from BKC. Travelling time is almost around 1 hr 30 mins to 2 hrs and more during peak hours. Try finding a house in western line

What is even connected to development and Indian toilet it’s our own jus Bz u have western toilet that don’t mean u are posh ??Are u from foreign?? It’s totally up to you but plz don’t tell it again and again it’s sound bad ..If some body pain can’t seat in india toilet that’s fine but if u know properly Indian toilet are the clean hygiene and healthier one ..
