let the air out of the tire and wrap a ratchet strap around the tire and rim and pull the tire flat where the clutch hits the tire, then you wont have to move the wheel out to get the clutch off. Unless your wheel is easy to move then no big deal. I could'nt get mine to move at all, used a ratchet and worked like a charm. Might have to shove a 2x4 between the strap and tire to pull it more evenly flat. Keep up the good work young man!

Great video. I somehow have managed to get the first reduction gear cover off/ on without taking the gear with it. You have to hold your tongue just right and I forget how each time. Glad you got that spanner nut off easily though you used a punch. I created a tool for it once and still had to split one and replace it on one. Glad you found the gear that was the problem.

Exellent work! Transmission need attention. But also most of it. Looked in good shape. Should go back together with plenty of life to go!!!

Will you be posting a reassembly video anytime soon? I am working on one of my John Deere 50s and trying to figure out how to properly reinstall the shifters/shafts specifically the high/low range shifter. The manual I have isn’t very descriptive
