"you don't need to beat a whole game to review it, i think that's dumb" eeehhh... i think, if you are a professional reviewer, you really should. maybe not "100 percent, all collectibles and endings" completion, but... and if you don't you need to *lead* with that, instead of writing a whole review talking down on the story or the gameplay when you didn't even get to the meat of it (which might still be rotten, but at least you wouldn't be caught saying it's something it isn't)... idk, a random dude bumbling around is different XD
Yeah him and kevduit been just cutting off at random points in games recently to try and keep up with the pace they had to start off. He edits these out of his streams but if you’re not following him on social media idk when he even streams. I like them on TH-cam and hope they did what mindpulp recently did after people said the same. They’d play 2-3 levels and just give no conclusion and end it. Wierd endings…. Too short. Oboe needs to revisit this one.

I put them under my mattress and used them at night. anyways, one day I came home and my mom had the images and asked why I had those. @Gorbachof not about the devs, more like the public opinion. If the audience is told this or that character is the good guy, they ignore even horrible things said "good" character does, even murder. That is the wild part.
Originally Lara was not a good person, she was in for the thrill of it, and unlike Indiana Jones, she would keep the finds for herself. Games that came after the CORE trilogy, and especially the most recent ones, have tried to spin her as the good guy she clearly wasn't.
This was really bad man. You do need to at least play a few levels to judge a game. You getting lazy af. You could tell it was supposed to be some other game. You could tell there might be something completely different coming in later levels. More platforming maybe? Who knows. But I know that Oboe the “game reviewer” doesn’t know either and cheated me when I was pumped to watch him play some slop. What’s the deal brah. 😢
I think you need to play more than a tutorial level to review a game at least. There are tons of games that dish out upgrades or moves as you go along and not just in the first 5 minutes of gameplay. The best reviews of games I've seen are from people who actually bother to play the full game and can give criticism and praise accordingly towards every aspect of the game. Compare that to someone who judges an exprience based on less than 10% of the entire experience and yeah I'm going to disagree that games journalists don't need to beat the games they review. What a trash take.

got this for christmas one year and was so confused why Carmen Sandiego was barely in it. I remember having a pretty good time with it though
I got this game as a kid and it was maybe the first time I just totally gave up on trying to have fun with a game and and just took it as a loss.
