  • I'm happy to pretend it was "deathless" since in a real run I'd have gauged safely for that first death.
...well, in a real run I wouldn't stay in P1 for 30 minutes.
My second gauge was just horrible; I think I just played poorly after my first gauge.

My quick experience report on learning P1 HSeren as an NL:
    - If dash is on cd, dodge stabs with upjump; duck makes it harder to react to pillars. In general, it's nice to jump attack through Seren stabs so you have an easier time to react to pillars.
    - Dodge prio in most important order: pillar, wave, stab = radial, balls. Dodging radial takes prio ofc if HP is low
    - Radial fires 2s after and pillar 1s after, so don't lock yourself after seeing a radial until 1-ish seconds
    - Use an iframe for burst if you want consistency. I practiced a ton, and I still mess up ~1/10 or so of my bursts due to pillar RNG/poor setup
    - Note my liberal use of blink as a momentum cancel. Whenever I have to make fast jumps to avoid pillars or waves, I get ready to blink in place if I'm about to jump to a pillar. It's also useful for avoiding radial while staying in ROR (but again, you should just use iframe for burst)
    - Ideally keep her away from corners if you're fine with not maximizing omen uptime. Wave attack from the corner is extremely difficult to deal with. If you want to maximize omen uptime, then you have to continuously bait her to dash into the corner. But IMO it's really hard to fight for 30 minutes with her in the corner.
    - A good "default" position is in between two pillar spawn locations. Ducking can very quickly shift your hitbox. This doesn't work against double pillars though.
