Underwater, Ludovico Einaudi's first full solo piano album for 20 years, is a manifesto for life and a statement for this time when the world around him was quiet and silent.
With 12 beautiful and intimate piano tracks featuring his trademark melodies, the album was written while Ludovico was isolated at his home in Italy, working without any distractions or the usual commitments that come with his busy schedule:

I'm honestly so jealous of any person, who can pour their soul and emotions into an instrument. And not only that, but in a way that others can feel it too.
Why not try learning one then? Everyone starts somewhere.
First of all let go of the jealousy.
Then let go of the idea that the musician is separate from you or better than you.
Then know that you too can learn. It is only your mind which is stopping and limiting you with the belief you cant do it.
Get out there and believe you can do anything and go anywhere and BE anyone.

This is one of my favorite albums to play when watching our fish 🐟 🐟 🐟 🐟 The music becomes the canvas and the fish become the painters. Together they make a piece of art the eyes and soul can enjoy for hours.
Einaudi's work is beautiful beyond words. I cannot possibly express what I feel every time I listen to his compositions.

I had never listened to this kind of music before because I found it boring, but when I heard one of your songs, I was shocked (because I realized how much for all this time i had been wrong about it) and delighted at the same time.
