I’m Mexican American. Grew up in CA. I used to see duendes at our old home: I don’t remember much but I used to talk to what I thought was a boy 😭. I don’t know what happened exactly but I got a really bad eye infection. My eye was closed shut. My parents took me to different doctors and they did t know what was wrong with my eye: they thought I was gonna loose my sight on the right eye: my grandma came over. Did some egg ritual with Yerba buena and blew cigarette smoke in my eye. Within hours my eye went back to normal. I can’t remember how old I was maybe 11 12. It was some crazy shit: I think she put a bowl under my bed too idk but it was a crazy experience lol. Thank god for my grandma 👵 ❤ RIP.
